Sheratan Palo Alto offers a tranquil and comfortable retreat amidst the bustling city of Palo Alto. From its convenient location to its welcoming atmosphere, this hotel provides an enjoyable stay for both business and leisure travelers. The first thing that impressed me about Sheratan Palo Alto was its prime location. Situated in the heart of Silicon Valley, it offers easy access to major technology companies, Stanford University, and a variety of restaurants and shops. Whether you're visiting for work or exploring the area, this hotel serves as an excellent base for your activities. Upon entering the lobby, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff members who were eager to assist with any inquiries or requests. The check-in process was swift and efficient, allowing me to settle into my room promptly. The hotel staff consistently maintained a high level of professionalism and ensured that all my needs were met during my stay. The guest rooms at Sheratan Palo Alto are spacious, clean, and well-appointed. My room featured a comfortable bed with crisp linens, a work desk, and a cozy sitting area. The modern decor and tasteful furnishings created a pleasant ambiance. Additionally, the room was equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge, and a coffee maker, ensuring a convenient and enjoyable stay. One of the highlights of my stay was the hotel's outdoor pool area. Surrounded by lush greenery, it provided a serene and relaxing environment. The pool was well-maintained and offered a refreshing respite after a long day. The adjacent fitness center was also well-equipped with modern exercise equipment, allowing guests to stay active during their stay. Sheratan Palo Alto boasts a few dining options that cater to a range of tastes. The on-site restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet with a variety of hot and cold options. The menu featured both local and international cuisine, ensuring there was something for everyone. However, I found the dining options for lunch and dinner somewhat limited, and exploring nearby restaurants might be a better choice for those seeking more diverse culinary experiences. In terms of service, Sheratan Palo Alto excelled in providing prompt and efficient assistance. Housekeeping was thorough and timely, ensuring that the rooms were always clean and well-maintained. The hotel staff was also helpful in arranging transportation and providing recommendations for local attractions. One aspect where Sheratan Palo Alto could improve is the availability of parking. While the hotel offers parking facilities, it can be limited during peak times. However, the staff was accommodating in providing alternative parking options nearby. Overall, Sheratan Palo Alto offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay with its prime location, friendly staff, and well-appointed rooms. Whether you're in Palo Alto for business or leisure, this hotel provides a relaxing oasis amidst the vibrant city. With a few minor improvements, it has the potential to become an even more exceptional choice for visitors to the area.

The reservation was made on the website, and confirmed over the phone. We were told that the payment method given on the website would be the one charged. When we arrived we were literally turned away without an option other than paying CASH up-front. We then had to make arrangements to transfer the funds from the account entered into the website to an account we had on hand. They do not have Tap-to-pay, either, otherwise we could have just used the account that was originally entered! Once we got to our room, the requested crib/pack n' play was not in the room. We had to try a number of times to reach the front desk to request it. The beds in the room were so hard that we woke up sore! The pictures included show how little care is taken when it comes to details. The bed topper was not secured properly, nor was the fitted sheet. The maintenance department did not bother to match the color/frequency of the bulbs in the room when replacing or installing them. And NONE of the pictures were properly hung. Not to mention, their coffee for the coffee maker is Starbucks branded, which we do not prefer, but in addition their choice of blend/beans is absolutely terrible for the low heat drip coffee maker in the room. They do not offer a meal choice that doesn't cost you an additional $20 on top of the room charge. In addition they do have a small refrigerator, which is nice to keep any food in if you have left overs... But then again there is no microwave to reheat it in later! So, over all this was not worth the cost in the least!

This hotel is totally overpriced for what it is and that is why I give it only a 1star rating. My room was noisy, I could not sleep. Not sure if it was the AC because I switched it off but the noise stayed. I attached a video with the noise. You can also hear guests in the hallway in the video. Also, there was quite a lot of dust and the carpet was not clean - this hotel is therefore not suited for people with allergies and sensitive skin. I have now mites, my skin is itchy since staying at the hotel and I am getting a treatment against mites. The gym is a joke, a little room for this amount of guests. They have a heated outdoor pool, however, nobody uses it as there are no showers or changing rooms outside and you have to walk trough the whole hotel in your bathing suit to get to your room and back. Additionally, you hear everything that is happening outside the room and with many young people staying at the hotel, you do get woken up late at night by guests who go back to their rooms. WIFI does not work well, the connection is really slow and you get kicked out very often. The shower takes a long time until you get hot water and it is difficult to regulate the temperature. 1 star hotel for 5 star price: I stayed in many hotels and this is the worst for the price tag!

100 percent Amazing pool and over the top breakfast. The service was amazing too! Special shout out to Tony Aurianna and Irene @ the front desk! And the crew at breakfast for making our stay enjoyable! A short drive to Fisherman’s Warf and right next door to Stanford! Wonderful stay for the whole family!
