The trains are consistently tardy, causing me to wait anywhere from a minute to a whole hour! And don't even get me started on the cancellations! It's as if they enjoy keeping their patrons in the dark about the delays' reasons. You see, they will tell you your train is on time until it simply doesn't show up, leaving you stranded with no clue when you'll be able to reach your destination. Worse, I've witnessed conductors allowing people onto the platform only to shut the train doors and leave them behind! How unreliable and insulting is that?! And to add insult to injury, the service is costly for such poor quality. The station is relatively clean and offers a few shops to browse through. Still, the comings and goings of passengers can be chaotic, with arrival and departing travelers sometimes colliding. And, to make matters even worse, people sometimes use drugs in and around the station. When it comes to Caltrain service, it's nothing short of terrible—delay after delay with little to no information about why or when the trains will arrive. And to make matters even worse, the ticketing policy is simply the worst. When they finally gave the all-clear to board, I mistakenly entered through an open door, only to be scolded by a conductor who refused to allow me on board due to my disability, telling me to "catch a cab" instead. The service is a complete disaster, and I would not recommend it to anyone, especially new riders who may not be aware of the ticketing policy. Also a ticket checker threatened my 14 year old friend with kicking him off and giving him a citation because he didn't have his...

Yesterday while buying a ticket at their machine there was a young couple sitting in a pile of sleeping bags. The woman told her partner to take a picture of me during my purchase. Immediately an insecure thought alert came up, what are they doing? Is he setting me up for some criminal future act? Are they doing this to other people as well? Why are people allowed to live there?

CalTrain does a good job keeping this station clean during normal operations. It would be a good plan to keep people from living here for both safety and...

Out of all the small towns in the country, this is my favorite one. I love Palo Alto, and that's where we have chosen as home. I invite everybody to visit this beautiful city and enjoy all Palo Alto, Ca offers besides astronomical property prices 😜 We have the best collection of restaurants that still after 6 years of living here, I am exploring them and enjoy eating and networking in some of the popular places that brings lots of people from across the San Francisco Bay Area. Great station, almost every train stops here, and lots of connections to Stanford Marguerite shuttles, VTA and SamTrans buses, and local commuter shuttles. In close proximity to Palo Alto HS and Town and Country Shopping center as well. There is a coffee place which is pretty good. Don’t park your bike here. It’ll get stolen.

Professors and students study homelessness and addiction—modeling the data, publishing the papers—but do they “see” the unhoused here at this station right in front of them ? They are data-driven, and encounter poverty in spreadsheets.
