Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store — Attraction in Palo Alto

A pillow is a very personal item much in line with a worn teddy bear that a child seems to cherish because it brings so much comfort. A good pillow that provides a good night sleep and brings relief to neck strain is extremely hard to find. I am happy to say that I found my teddy bear pillow at Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store located at Stanford Mall. I walked into the store on a Saturday night an hour before closing and hoping to take advantage of the B1G1 Free Pillow deals. Minh greeted me and asked if I needed any assistance. I told him I had neck strain from staring at the computer and cell phone all day long and I am a side sleeper looking for a good pillow. He recommended several options and he encouraged me to give each one a try because each person's idea of comfort is different. He provided sanitary disposable sheets on the pillow and the bed which was unexpected but appreciated. It came down to the Tempur-Neck Pillow or the Tempur-Ergo Cooling Neck Pillow. I went with the Tempur-Ergo Cooling Neck Pillow because it felt good and provided more support. After a week of using it, I felt it was rather too firm for my neck and I brought it back to the store to exchange for the Tempur-Neck which was a little softer. Minh took the pillows back with no questions asked. That is what I call excellent customer service! I sleep on the higher end of the Tempur-Neck pillow each night with a neck that feels strained from a long day and wake up in the morning feeling refreshed and ready for work. I have used other contour neck pillows and even the Tri-Core Neck Pillow sold on Amazon, but the Tempur-Neck Pillow has the right amount of firmness to provide the comfort I have been looking for all my life. I recommended my friends to seriously consider a tempur pedic bed since I’ve had one for over 15 years. The original salesman that helped them, Ryan, was friendly and gave a lot of attention and knowledge to my friends. I was roaming around the store with my friends dog while they went through the ins and outs. I became interested in the pillows and they had a BOGO deal so it was even more intriguing. But a few more people came into the store and Ryan couldn’t help me so another sales person was just standing at the counter, Sylvia, so I decided to ask her. She rolled her eyes and said oh show me what you’re talking about. I got up and thought she was behind me but then she just walked to the back. I get my purchase wasn’t a large one but don’t ask me to show you something and then ignore me. As a flagship store, you’d think you would want to help everyone in the store but even listening to her talk to other customers was condescending. I was so irked by Sylvia that I want people to know that she’s not nice and although Ryan was helpful, it didn’t help the store overall. I’ll never recommend someone to that store and rather go somewhere else to feel like a purchase isn’t based on the pocket size. As I plan to upgrade my bed, I’ll be looking somewhere else because if Sylvia took the time, she would have known I was a loyal customer to...

My wife and I are expecting and we decided to ease the difficulty and pains my wife was experiencing by upgrading our sleeping accomodations.

Jeff was excellent and warmly greeted us and took care of our questions and needs. All covid protections were adhered to, including sheets protectors on all beds we laid down on, he wore a mask & gloves, and plenty of sanitizer all around.

Jeff was super knowledgeable about all the products and it didn't feel like a sales pitch but giving us information about the wide array of products available. Also he stated he is an owner of tempur products and has been in the industry for 13 years and it showed.

The Tempur-Pedic products speak for themselves. They are all insanely comfortable with variations to accommodate a wide range of sleeping options and variations. Jeff got some basic information from us and we were off testing out beds! He was attentive to our needs and wants, didn't push for upselling, and also gave us space to talk amongst each other debating which setups we liked best.

It's a big investment for us, and I felt like he knew it and took the time, care, and attention to make sure we were making the right decision.
