We came into store on Thursday, 9/11, and were greeted by Christy. We said we wanted to look at sofas but were just getting some ideas of what was available. She gave us some direction as to what styles and materials were located in different parts of the store and then she kindly left us alone to look about. We liked that and commented to each other that we preferred this approach rather than have a salesperson “hovering” over us. It gave us a more relaxed atmosphere to freely discuss our likes and preferences without a salesperson present. We did find a sofa we liked (surprisingly the first one we looked at in detail.) We left after looking over all the stock, including the sections that were fabric coverings (we wanted a leather sofa.) We came back the next day to purchase the sofa we liked and specifically asked for Christy as we appreciated her “sales approach “ the previous day and wanted her to get credit for the sale. Everything she did from that point on was very professional and much appreciated by us. A final comment: I did ask her if it was company acceptable practice to give out a business card at her initial contact with us on first day, which it was. We were impressed enough with her that I offered the advice that she should make a point of this to help returning customers ask for the right person ( we actually discussed and tried to remember her name when we came the second day-I was close but, as always, my wife’s memory was superior!!) We will shop again at this store and now know to ask for Christy by name. Charles...
Read moreWhatever you do NOT buy any furniture from Rooms To Go! We purchased a massive sectional sofa from them in 2019 and paid extra for the 3 year warranty. Shortly after the 2 year mark the supports for a section of the sofa break. The Rooms To Go technician comes out and says it is a manufacturer design flaw. The warranty company does not cover manufacturer design flaws. I contact Rooms To Go Again and they tell me they only honor 1 year warranty and it doesn't matter if they determine it is a design flaw. So now we are stuck with a sectional sofa we paid thousands for, plus an extended warranty, that is now broken and Rooms To Go and the warranty company refuse to fix. Complete and total scam. Rooms To Go and Fortegra warranty are nothing but scammers....
Read moreFolks……buyer beware of this company! Upon spending thousands of dollars for our home and our condo, Rooms to Go does not value their customers. We purchased a Stearns & Foster (almost $4000 mattress) which was defective. Rooms to Go, Sealy (who manufactures this defective product) would not replace a fairly new mattress….. that supposedly has a 20 year warranty???? My husband even contacted the local management regarding the hump in the middle along with corporate at Sealy. After they played the blame game with each other……no one would help us…….no one cared. After much research, we discovered a mattress which far surpasses anything Rooms to Go hawks. So when you need a new mattress or any furniture from Rooms to Go…… please don’t make the same mistake we made. We found Saatva mattress to be the best mattress we have ever owned and reasonably priced! Because so many furniture stores have closed……..Rooms to Go seem to think they have cornered the market for buyers and product or customer service doesn’t matter. How sad they have lowered themselves to this status. It’s called...
