So i really enjoy eating at IHOP, the food is always the same everywhere we go, but this time it was my brother's birthdays, and we went to Panama City to the Race track and we headed to Ihop, to enjoy our-self some food. We got their and a gentleman middle age that took us to our seat was very sweet, and very polite. Now our waitress was a young guy who ask us what we wanted to drink and when he came back he forgot to give us two straws. When he came back to take our order I ask for ham instead of sausage also, I ask him for the straws and he said he was coming back w/ them and never came back. Remember this wasn't a busy day, when we got our food delivered, this time was an older lady that didn't looked like a chef but rather a waitress, she did not repeat the order because one of our orders was wrong, she gave us a mean look and rolled her eyes at us, when i explain i ask for sausage instead of ham and she said that the order came with sausage and no ham, that's when our waitress came and said i had order ham, she was mad and went back for the ham. I ask nicely if we could have two straws and she never came back nor the waitress. We had finish eating and we were waiting for our ticket it took our waitress too long to get it, and when it was time to pay i gave 2 $50 bills. I should of never have done that, it took my waitress about 10 minutes to give me my change back cause he had to go back and get change. Now, I work at a restaurant and service is one of our biggest priority, i know how hard it can be sometimes that's why i love to tip big. He came back and gave us our change back, now their was a couple waiting to be seating and when they gave me my change back they gave me 2 $20 bills, I ask the old gentleman again for some change, I had concluded that if my waitress had to go and get some change for me that he was going to have more in the register. Boy!!!!!!!! i was wrong, the old gentleman had to go and get some change that I just end up tipping $5 which i was not going to do if they at least did something better. I know everyone has their own opinion but this was the baddest service ever and not going back to that place, and felt bad to take my little brother in such a...
Read moreLet me start off by saying I NEVER leave bad reviews because I always try to be understanding and compassionate, but with that said, I REFUSE to hold my tongue on the service I just received. First red flag was when I asked for the blueberry topping that comes on pancakes to be on the side instead of on top, our waiter(an older Hispanic man with short hair) complained and acted like because the cooks were so busy that they couldn’t do that. Then we waited 45 minutes for our food while getting repeatedly passed by our waiter without so much as a “are you guys okay” or “just a little longer” from our waiter. Then he comes with our food(makes sure to point out that he went through such a hassle of putting the toppings on the side) and runs off without asking if we needed anything(I didn’t have the salsa that comes with my omelette) but I say okay no big deal, we’re blessed to have a meal, let’s just eat.... AND THE FOOD IS HARD AND COLD. Like it had been sitting 20 minutes and microwaved. The waiter passes by (we counted) 5 times in a 20 minute period and never stopped and asked if we needed a refill or ANYTHING! So I want to just get my check and leave. Nope, to get the check he would have to come by which he REFUSED TO DO! We get up to leave and then he wants to say “everything okay guys?” NO it is not okay. I understand being busy and I’ve had a career of working in a fast paced customer service based environment and understand things get hectic sometimes but this wasn’t that. It was BLATANT DISRESPECT. I will never be back though I would like to say the hostess’s were very polite , but do not stop here if you want anything short of a 2 hour eat, and any type of good customer service. If any management reads this , please REASSESS WHO YOU HIRE. You will not be in business long treating people this way. I’m sorry and I would never have left this review if I wasn’t so disrespected and appalled by not just our waiters actions but a lot of the whole staff! Let’s just say we weren’t the only people complaining today. God Bless and I pray that the waiter learns from this and finds it in his heart to either choose a career he will be happier in, or works on his...
Read moreNot a good experience. Already committed so we stuck it out, but unfortunately I didn't see the reviews until I got here... looking to see if this was a repeated bad experience or a benefit of the doubt. It's a repeated bad experience. Immediately coming in it was hot and humid. And after getting seated 30 mins later, it was the same climate at the booth as the front door. Smelled like sweat and mildew... probably from the mold coming from the ceilings and sweaty bodies... Our waitress was super nice and friendly but poor thing, a lot of her Co workers were rude and in super bad moods. One waitress, in front of us and other customers, came to the front and was ticked off because she was going to have to stay for another hour waiting for these tables to finish, while her 90 YO grandmother was waiting... she had a bad attitude towards a lot of her courses workers.... that alone made us want to leave before we even sat down at our table. The last thing you want is rude and ticked off waitresses serving your food... Waited a total of an hour and finally had to leave due to the heat and smell and still no food. Even though we never got our food, it was very concerning on the quality of food and cleanliness. We sat in front of the door that goes to the back and we saw some nasty and sketchy items, and buckets, on the floor. Mulyiple fans on the ground were blowing towards the back so i could only imagine what was blowing around on all the food. We saw multiple plates of food being returned and no one appeared to get their order correct. We were not the only ones who were unhappy with this place... people were ticked off, not being helped, food all wrong, people leaving... It was just a...
