Panda Express — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

I have been to this location many times, I am a local here. Wednesday 03/11 around 4pm. I went through the drive through a lady on the other end took the order she had a thick accent. So we had to ask her to repeat a lot because it was very hard to hear. From the beginning of the order she seemed annoyed. When she repeated the order it didn’t sound correct so we double checked and she said”I literally just said that” and huffed on the other end. Because it was so hard to hear her my order was wrong which happens, mistakes happen it wasn’t a big deal. I order orange chicken and rice. I ended up getting orange chicken and noodles. I went in to fix it. She came up to me didn’t smile or say anything just “what do you need”. I brought in my receipt & said it was suppose to be rice and I’m sorry it was hard to hear here. Again she huffed and she said “I even repeated it twice to you.” After that she hands me the receipt back doesn’t say anything and walked away. Thinking she will be back to help me and fix the issue, she does not return. I stand up at the counter for a couple minutes. And thankfully the whole time a man that was cooking the food was listening. He ended up boxing me up some rice and gave me a drink too. He was nice and apologized and I was very thankful that he was there. I work in the service industry, mistakes are made everyday but it’s how you address it that matters. That was one of the rudest moment I have ever encountered at any food service industry. The fact she didn’t say anything and waked away with me standing up there thinking she was coming back. Honestly not once have I enjoyed eating at this location. I live 2 miles from it. I wish it was better. My last 4 times here have been terrible. The rice was not edible once out of 4 TIMES. Only one piece of pineapple twice. On 2 separate times the chicken and beef were too hard to eat. Burnt meat. I always order a plate. I go through the drive through. Get home and twice it’s been only one serving of what I ordered. I decided to go back tonight and go in the lobby to order. I told him last time I ordered I only got one piece of pineapple and the rice wasn’t cooked. Could he make sure I get enough pineapple and he informed me that he could not do that. I told him that the last four times I ordered here were all terrible experiences. He said he could not do it. It is your job to make your customers happy. DO YOUR JOB. Give me the right amount of pineapple. There was literally no one in there.No one likes your location. Everyone I know complains about it and prefers the23rd location. You guys are the worst and it sucks because the sweet fire chicken is good. There’s no point in complaining to the company because you get a measly little box of whatever you ordered and its like 3 bites. It’s a joke. A slap in the face. I am never ever going to Panda Express again. I will make it myself at home from now on. I used to treat myself to Sweet fire chicken once a wee. It was the only time I ate out. I have dined at this establishment twice in December 2014, thinking the first time was just a bad experience- so I gave them another try. HORRIBLE once again. Let's start with the food: the Lo Mien (your side) so greasy that you could literally see the grease. So I decided to go with the Steamed White Rice! I mean how can you mess up rice? Try overcooked or overheated, dried out and crunchy! Then on to my ENTREE sides. I chose the Broccoli and Beef. Let's just call it Broccoli! The taste was good but no beef. I asked the 'server" if Orange Chicken was similar to Mandarin Chicken and she stated "it's the same thing!" Um, Mandarin Chicken is not fried, with sauce. I wasn't going to argue, was just going to pick another entree. Instead she slaps Orange Chicken on my plate. I decided to just "roll" with it judging by the line developing behind me. I also got a egg roll that was so over cooked that it was like a egg roll cookie. It was so hard and crunchy, it was like eating dried vegetables! So the best thing that was great about this place overall is the fortune cookie. I called the restaurant today to express my concerns and the "Manager on duty" knew nothing! She couldn't answer any questions and when I asked about the store manager, she didn't know that too! Or maybe she just didn't want to give it to me!
