Wyland Galleries — Attraction in Paradise

I have had the absolute worst experience with this gallery! I bought a Jim Warren painting 8 months ago. It has twice been shipped to the wrong address in a city that I don’t even live in. After spending hours on the phone with fedex I was able to reroute the second package to my correct address, however the painting came rolled in a tube and not gallery wrapped as I had ordered. No one in the gallery can help me and continues to refer me to their corporate offices. I have left several messages over the past 2 weeks and have not received a call back or any contact on how to resolve this. It’s been nearly a year and I still can’t hang this painting on my wall. The painting we purchased was overpriced. We received it from the artist with a receipt with a much much lower value than what we paid this gallery. We were told by the saleswoman there would be additional embellishments on it. There were not. We were also told we were getting a certificate of authenticity which we never received. They do not answer their phone. We tried calling and emailing this gallery multiple times in the past two months with no response. Without a certificate of authenticity our painting it worth nothing. We had planned to buy several other Warren pieces from them but we will take our business somewhere more reputable. Save your money, this place is selling artwork at a 300% markup and has garbage...

I’m so disappointed and frustrated. I paid 50% deposit on a bronze sculpture last August, I hadn’t heard anything by March and so I emailed asking for an update, the fulfilment department emailed and said they had spoken to the artist and shipping was likely to be the following week. Noting since despite reaching out at least twice more. I have since contacted the gallery direct and told them I won’t want to wait any more and I’d like my $1950 deposit back and chased them twice and still hear. I thing so now I am going to have to claim back through my credit card company.
