I recently had the pleasure of visiting Epic Movie Theater, and I must say, it lived up to its name in every sense. From the moment I stepped into the theater, I was immersed in a truly epic cinematic experience.
The first thing that struck me was the sheer grandeur of the theater. The spacious lobby, modern decor, and comfortable seating created an inviting atmosphere. The theater was clean and well-maintained, giving off a sense of professionalism and attention to detail.
The selection of movies at Epic Movie Theater was outstanding. They offered a wide variety of films, ranging from the latest blockbusters to independent gems. No matter your taste, there was something for everyone. The theater's commitment to showcasing diverse genres and stories was commendable.
The audio and visual quality of the screenings were exceptional. The state-of-the-art sound system and crystal-clear projection added a new dimension to the movie-watching experience. It truly felt like I was transported into each film, fully immersed in the captivating visuals and booming sound effects.
What truly set Epic Movie Theater apart was the exceptional customer service. The staff members were friendly, helpful, and attentive, ensuring that every visitor felt valued and had a seamless experience. From purchasing tickets to concession stand assistance, the staff went above and beyond to provide stellar service.
Speaking of concessions, the food and beverage options were top-notch. The theater offered a diverse menu of snacks, including classic favorites like popcorn and candy, as well as more gourmet choices like loaded nachos and specialty drinks. The quality and variety of the concessions were impressive, adding to the overall enjoyment of the movie experience.
The seating in the theaters was comfortable and well-spaced, providing ample legroom and a clear view of the screen from every seat. The plush seats were designed with comfort in mind, allowing for a truly relaxing movie-watching experience.
In conclusion, Epic Movie Theater exceeded my expectations in every way. It offers a fantastic selection of movies, impeccable audio and visual quality, and outstanding customer service. The theater's attention to detail, comfortable seating, and delicious concessions make it a go-to destination for any movie lover. Whether you're looking to catch the latest blockbuster or discover hidden cinematic gems, Epic Movie Theater is the perfect place to indulge in a truly epic movie...
Read moreGreat atmosphere, terribly inconsistent food/drink service last night for our first visit to an IPIC to see Dune.
First off, I will say that I will probably give this place another chance very soon if not solely because the atmosphere and cleanliness was fantastic, it truly felt like first class but for movies. It seems that there are virtually no showings during weekdays nowadays, but even this full theater for Dune felt private enough and for my wife and I to have a wonderful date night. I'm giving it the benefit of the doubt since it was a very late showing on a Saturday as well and I have to assume that's the environment where the most mistakes can reasonably be made.
That said, whether I was ordering food or a drink, I got the incorrect thing most of the time. But being so riveted by the movie (and my desire not to be a "Karen" during the quiet parts of the film) I didn't send anything back despite having the issues below:
Ordered a Moscow mule, but got some Nutmeg/Cinnamon drink. Definitely felt like my drink got swapped with someone else's, otherwise this would literally be the weirdest mule to ever exist. Ordered a Storypoint red wine, got some kind of chilled Chardonnay instead. No idea what it was, but finished it begrudgingly even though I could clearly tell it was not what I ordered. Later, I ordered "another Storypoint" and that seemed to arrive correct but only the second time it was ordered. Ordered a Beyond cheeseburger and I have no confidence whatsoever that it was actually a Beyond Patty and not a beef patty, because whatever it was it was almost completely burnt to black. Thankfully the truffle fries that came with it were absolutely spectacular, but the severe stomach pain I experienced afterwards makes me wonder if there was a mix-up on the Patty, since I've been a vegetarian for more than a decade now and anytime I have accidentally eaten beef I have felt the exact same way afterwards.
Anyway, all the servers and staff here seemed like wonderful people and were great to interact with, but I just had to note the errors and disappointment with the food and drink. I do think I will come back (probably without buying food or drink next time) soon, but it would be sooner if there were more showings especially...
Read moreThe fire alarm went off in the middle of the movie. We were all scared and didn’t know what to do. After almost 5 minutes it finally turned off but then about every 10 minutes a loud beep rang for the rest of the movie. No one ever explained what happened or apologized for the inconvenience. And then right at 5 minutes before the end of the movie the server lets us know there was an error and needs our credit card again. We missed most of the ending dealing with this. We complained to management on our way out and they were incredibly rude to us. Claimed they had to contact us while the movie was still on so we wouldn’t dine and dash (umm we gave you our credit card at the beginning and you have our personal info from buying tix). They gave us comp tix that are only good for old movies and recommended rewatching the movie we just saw. Such an insanely insulting experience.
Update: We used our comp tickets to give ipic another shot and wow we just can’t catch a break. I didn’t mention it before but the night we first went the escalator was broken. 3 months later and still not fixed. We had a nice server but the call button at our seats did not work so every time we needed something we had to go out to the lobby to find someone to help us. We went out twice during the movie. We even heard someone that worked there comment “oh those seats”. So you knew the call button didn’t work but still let someone book those seats, not warn them, or check in on them so they don’t have to get up to find you? Defeats the whole purpose of going to ipic. When we got our check we noticed it was missing two drinks so we thought they comped them as a way of apologizing for the inconvenience. So we left a large tip. Two days later we were charged for the two drinks on a separate bill. We will not be returning to ipic. We recently moved to the area from downtown Los Angeles and were hoping it’d be our regular spot. But we will be making the trip back down to Alamo Drafthouse in DTLA who has way better service and prices. Totally worth the trip to avoid the...
