My friend and I visited this salon hoping to get a manicure and pedicure. Valeria, the owner, informed us there was no availability that day but offered to schedule us for the following day. However, once she realized we might go to a different salon, she quickly changed her mind and said she could fit us in if we waited 30 minutes. She even offered a discount, which led us to stay. After waiting, we began our pedicures. Unfortunately, the technicians appeared inexperienced and soon I realized the are unlicensed the quality of the service reflected this. My cuticles weren’t cleaned properly, and the overall pedicure felt rushed. Before finishing, we were abruptly told that they could not complete our manicures because they were fully booked after all, and again offered to reschedule for the next day. It was incredibly frustrating to be misled and receive only half of the service, especially considering the quality did not reflect the price we were charged. We had to visit another salon just to have the job properly completed. Overall, a very disappointing and unprofessional experience. After deciding not to continue with the service, we explained to the staff that it would be unfair to pay given the incomplete and subpar experience. We requested to speak with the owner and were told she was in an interview. We patiently waited over 40 minutes, which we didn’t initially mind. However, it became apparent that she was deliberately stalling giving the interviewer a tour of the salon, including things as irrelevant as where the trash and TV were, rather than addressing...
Read moreI do not recommend this salon, it was by far the worst experience I have ever had. I came in to get a mani & pedi and was told that there would be availability in 30 minutes. I happily waited & even went to buy some of their products they have next door. During my pedicure Suly got up and said that she would let my toe nails dry. I was confused as to why she was letting them dry, perhaps to apply the second coat meant letting it dry a little. She came back and mentioned that my pedicure service was complete and that after all I wouldn’t be able to get my manicure. It was agreed upon that I’d be getting a manicure and pedicure as I had even provided a picture. I waited for Valeria the owner with confusion because she said I’d be able to get both services. Not only did Suly do a terrible job on my pedicure and left my feet looking raw, she also began a Manicure for someone else 15 minutes later. Valeria handled the situation poorly. She even asked to take a look at my feet, grabbed my foot into the air and began inspecting my nails. She examined my nails and concluded that the 3 coats were there; 2 color coats and the clear coat. She even tried accusing me of trying to walk out without paying, although I paid $27 for a pedicure that was not complete. That pricing was with 50% off meaning I would’ve paid $60. Thank goodness my friend was there to speak up, otherwise I would’ve paid $60 for inadequate work. I also ended up having to pay $30 for a pedicure at another salon to fix their work. Nails & Blinks was a huge waste of time and money spent, I do not recommend...
Read moreI booked my appointment with Lei & she did so good on my toes! She took her time but I didn’t mind. When it came time to do my gel manicure she did inform me that she recommended acrylics for the look I was going for so I agreed, as she’s doing my soak off, about 10-15 minutes pass, another girl comes by to assist her with colors & lets her know she won’t have time to do my acrylics (had I known that I would’ve just told her to cancel the manicure & I’d have gone else where) I understood, we do what I originally booked but they absolutely just don’t look right, the gel is starting to chip already & I just got them done 6hrs ago. Also, to add on the energy was off & it really was giving high school & didn’t feel relaxing at all. pricing is pretty expensive, yes the place is cute & they add glitter to your pedis but I think quality & service should be better for $190. The girls in the salon all do great work that I will give them but you have to know how to run a business & give quality service as well, I know if my tech had time she would’ve did great on my acrylic set, I just feel like they were more worried about getting people in & out. Lastly, the owner & tech were talking about me in Spanish probably thinking I didn’t speak or understand Spanish since I’m white passing, but I do.. it’s unprofessional. Do better. as a Latina I try to support Latina owned businesses but this one is...
