Smoothie King — Restaurant in Pasadena

Ordered online on 11/08 just before noon. I drove up to the speaker and waited about a minute no one acknowledged me so I automatically drove up to the window. After waiting for over five minutes ( I didn’t mind as I was not in a rush, thought they would get to me when they would) they finally opened the window (I assumed because people were already behind me) the young lady that approached me look so annoyed when I told her I had an online order. As she rudely gave me my cup, she said “next time drive up to the speaker and tell us you’re here for an online order”. I nicely responded to her that I had been at the speaker but no one said anything so I drove up but I still apologized. Thinking that she would change her demeanor, she did the total opposite and responded in an accusatory & rude way telling me that I did not going to the speaker as I should have. I did get a little irritated but I was still respectful and told her I had been waiting for a while and that it was not my fault that she didn’t hear me. I asked her for her name and she told me “ you don’t need to know my name, just don’t do it again” . I was furious because I’ve worked in customer service & while it was just a simple smoothie and it should not have been a big deal, her facial expressions and the unnecessary disrespect made me get down to ask what her name was. I asked the other employee what the name was and she also responded “you don’t need to know”. I asked for a managers name and they both responded that I don’t need to know that information. This was so unnecessary and so unprofessional. Seeing this as human being as a whole and not even as a business, these girls should learn basic values/principles and learn that this is not the way to treat a person. If they don’t like working there they should really find a different type of job.

I won’t be visiting this place again yesterday on 11/12/2018 in the evening I stop by to get a gladiator 32oz strawberry protein with strawberry and peanut butter I go too smoothie king around 4-6 times a week they didn’t blended enough I was able to feel chucks of peanut butter and strawberry and chucks of ice today 11/13/2018 in the evening 7:33pm I order the same thing plus another one know every time I go order the same thing gladiator with peanut butter and strawberry and strawberry protein most of the employees already know what I order I had the same girl cashier for those 2 nights when I went today I ask the young lady can you make the smoothie is well blended please she answered yes In a funny way my son said mom she sounded Sarcastic like making fun of you because of what you told her I didn’t think nothing of it into I started drinking my smoothie and I kept prices of HAIR I look at the cup and it hairs blended inside I have pictures of this smoothie I have lots of recipes of where I visit this location often I am going too take this complaint to the manger tomorrow morning I’m very...

Update** No more $5 Friday This would have perfect score, but the actual location it's in is terrible. You might be able to get in or you might not get out. If this location has any kind of lunch rush you're screwed on trying to get in or out the parking lot. It's located in the Kroger's strip center off Spencer Hwy if you are heading towards the Sam Hou. Toll Rd on Spencer it's on the right soon as you pass Popeye's the next entrance, be careful you will pass it, if so go to the light (Blueberry)and turn right into Kroger's entrance. If you're coming from opposite direction catch the light at the Kroger's entrance which is Blueberry St. take a left and then a immediate right in front of gas station all the way down till strip ends Smoothie King on the left. Be careful cars are flying thru the parking lot and coming in that entrance off Spencer Hwy, you'll see what I'm saying about location of this place.
