As a seasoned user of coworking spaces, I feel compelled to share my experience with this particular establishment, as I believe it's important for potential renters to be aware of certain practices that I found concerning.
First and foremost, I want to caution you about the auto-renewal contract at this coworking space. Unlike other coworking spaces I've rented from in the past, where leases typically switch to a month-to-month basis after the initial term is over, this place has a different approach. Here, the lease automatically renews for another 12 months, and what's more, the renewal process is initiated a full three months before the current lease term ends.
Unfortunately, I learned about this the hard way. I received the renewal notice, but due to my busy schedule, I was a few days late in responding to it. I thought that since there were still 85 days left before the end of my lease, I would have ample time to cancel the renewal. However, to my dismay, my request to cancel the renewal was declined on the grounds that I was four days late in notifying them.
What I find particularly concerning is that the window of time during which you can cancel the renewal is not standardized—it varies depending on the terms of your lease. This makes it especially challenging for people to keep track of the deadlines, and if you have a hectic schedule or conditions like ADHD, you are at a heightened risk of missing the cancellation window.
In summary, while coworking spaces can offer many benefits, I urge you to exercise caution when considering this particular establishment. Pay close attention to the terms of the lease, especially the auto-renewal clause, and be vigilant about the deadlines for cancellation. I hope that my experience can help others avoid the same predicament that I...
Read moreI really want to warn you: this is a scam. They will tell you one thing on the sales call, but once you've signed the contract, you'll find they signed you up for something different, but just as expensive.
They "auto-renew" you at random intervals, for random intervals. They make big increases to your contracted amount for no reason. I started at a "promotional" rate ($45) that I knew was going to increase to $60. Then, a few months later? It increased to $75. They didn't even warn me, they just did it.
Now, it's $90 a month. When I tried to stop the contract, they told me I was signed up to 2023 and I can't, even though they aren't fulfilling the services they're contractually obligated to provide.
I signed up for the virtual mailbox. They don't alert you when you get mail, you aren't permitted to use the facility common areas (although I was told that was part of the membership during the sales call), and worst of all, they didn't even collect all my mail!
I had an important notice come from the City of Pasadena, and Spaces returned it to sender.
For $90 a month, they could at least collect my mail!
Perhaps you think "Oh, she just didn't read the contract close enough. I'm more savvy than that." You can go ahead and think that if you want. And then months from now, when you're locked in an auto-renewing, ever-increasing cycle with poor service, you'll wish you listened to me.
Seriously, just go somewhere else. Save yourself the trouble and do another coworking option.
It's not worth spending a bunch of money (that will only increase for no reason) on bad customer service and shady...

I toured every coworking property in Pasadena before selecting Spaces. In 2025, I signed a lease with Spaces, paid my deposit, and the first month’s rent. I chose that particular office for very specific reasons: window suite, near-direct access to outdoor space for my mixers, a quiet, stable spot for my podcasting, and walking distance to my escrow and other real estate offices.
Four days before move-in, Spaces informed me that my office had been leased to “a corporate client.” My business, plans, furniture, artwork, and my podcast were put on hold. They offered to let me move in, but only for 16 days. They dangled larger offices and in completely different locations in Pasadena, but made it clear they could push me out of that one at any time. Did you know that Spaces has 2 locations in Pasadena, and they operate as a Regus south of the 210 freeway? Those other 2 locations were completely unsuitable for me.
I thought it was getting resolved. They apologized in writing and promised a full refund. That was weeks ago. I have followed up three times and received no response. They still owe me thousands of dollars. Like I said, they forced me to write this review.
Unless you enjoy headaches and instability, I recommend staying away from...
