Don’t anyone dare talk about this place here, my H‑E‑B. Durning the Hurricane Harvey, Ike, Alisha etc this H‑E‑B made sure customers weren’t grabbing food and supplies like maniacs. It was organized. Roped off. Employees were happy to be at work and so compassionate during those vital times. The store manager I believe he is, the Hispanic guy. He makes sure that the business gets done, and Pearland police is outside to backup and makes sure no craziness has a chance.
This review is long overdue. I love this store yes it’s possible to love a store…If they seen me in store would know exactly who I am. I wish all stores were like this. You will never wait in a long line even if it’s 630 am and a line is forming, management WILL call employees to the front to help the 3 guests so no one waits lol no lie. Store is always clean. Employees are always working and walking around making sure store is organized. My OCD loves the look of the store. Always.
I’ve invested to this H‑E‑B since they first opened for all my grocery and family needs available here. Thank you all for everything, even at the worse times in hurricane history you guys have held it down for me and my family. Love you guys here I appreciate everything this store has done and still does for me and my family!
I have to share! The Senior employees who were graduates and didn’t get to walk across stage, this H‑E‑B had a ceremony for their employees who were Seniors. I cried because I was so...
Read moreI usually don't like to write reviews but, I just had enough with this HEB. it has been way too many times they are selling expired merchandise. Went to the store on January 14, bought some things including LaLa yogurt that had an expiration date of December,22/2020. I just realized now when I went to take one. If this was the only time it happened not big deal, but I also bought jam in the past, jam from the butcher area, where they cut it for you and next day I had to throw it away because it was green, some of it,i didn't see it in the store because you know how they give it to you wrapped nicely and all. Another 2 more times I had the same issue with pig leg and ribs, ribs were going to be cooked that same afternoon, got home, unpacked the ribs and sure enough they smell bad. One time a pig leg was purchased and put in the freezer, a couple week later took it out and sure enough it smell bad too when it was thaw and remove from its plastic cover,i have to say these experiences I have only had them at this HEB,not anywhere else,I shop at walmart, sams, Aldi and HEB, but I don't know if I want to keep coming here, because all these happened within a 1 and half year period i have been living in the area. I used to shop before at the HEB by Business Center Dr in Pearland and never had an issue. I don't want to be a hater, specially on these hard times with Covid-19 but we have...
Read moreOh, the passion I have for curbside pickup at H-E-B! It's as if the angels themselves have descended from heaven to deliver my groceries to me, without me having to lift a finger.
I know that the parking lot renovations have been a bit inconvenient, but I'm not complaining. After all, I'm getting to spend more time sitting in my car with my phone.
I adore the fresh produce and meat selection at H-E-B. It's like a culinary symphony, with each item more delicious than the last. But I have to admit, the curbside shoppers aren't always the most experienced when it comes to selecting and substituting these items.
One time, I ordered a dozen eggs and received a dozen golf balls. Another time, I ordered a ribeye steak and received a rubber chicken. But I don't mind. After all, even a mistake from curbside pickup is a reminder of the love that goes into each and every order.
And then there's the issue of the shopping bags. Oh, the shopping bags! The curbside shoppers are a little out of control with them. I once received an order of 24 items wrapped in 21 bags.
But I do not mind, for it is all part of the curbside experience. I am willing to overlook the occasional misstep in exchange for the convenience and luxury of having my groceries delivered to my car.
So here's to you, my dearest curbside pickup. You are not perfect, but you are...
