C Sterling Jewelers — Attraction in Perrysburg

I can't believe it has taken me this long to finally review Christian and his staff on Google, but perhaps this review can help others who may be in a similar position as I was ~ 2 years ago... looking to buy the most beautiful engagement ring that I could within my budget. My brother had initially got his ring from C Sterling as a friend of his recommended. I recall going with my brother and how personable Christian was throughout the whole process. You would expect to be made to feel as if you were his only customer, but something unique about Christian's approach was his genuineness. It truly seemed like we were working with a close friend.

Fast forward to when I was lucky enough to have found my twin soul, I had no doubt in my mind that Christian was who I wanted to work with to find my perfect diamond. He did not disappoint.

No amount of googling can replace the expert advice and education that a professional, in this case Christian, can offer when it comes to deciding on the perfect diamond. What I appreciated about Christian was that he didn't tell me what I needed, he educated me and then let me decide without an ounce of pressure.

We both decided that the setting (ring itself) should take a backseat to the diamond. I knew she wanted an emerald cut diamond and it took a few months of Christian searching his network to find the perfect diamond. Don't take that as a negative, the previous statement is a glaring positive. He could have easily gotten me a diamond very quick to get a quick sale on the books for the month, but again, I felt he truly put us first as his main goal was finding the perfect diamond within my budget. Totally worth the wait! It was beautiful.

Long story short, I am so proud to see the ring on her finger every single day. The diamond is what makes the ring special and beautiful, and I appreciate how much focus Christian put on making sure he found the right one.

Side note, even after the sale, his treatment of us like close friends never ceased. He even gave us a ring cleaning tip that has kept her ring shinning brilliantly and we still haven't taken her ring in yet for a "cleaning" almost two years after the big day.

Thank you Christian, and thank you to his team. I hope this review can help others who are "shopping around" find an enjoyable and rewarding experience partnering with you to guide them to their perfect diamond.

As a wide-eyed 21 year old, excited to purchase an engagement ring for my now wife, I came into C Sterling Jewelers to purchase her the ring of her dreams. They had the exact Tacori setting that she had wanted. Perfect. Things only went south when it was time to purchase the diamond. The owner of the jewelry store overheard the conservation between the saleswoman and me, regarding purchasing a lab made diamond, which made more financial sense for my situation. This led to an unwarranted rant from the owner about how buying a lab made diamond did not mean as much as a mined diamond, despite by his own admission, not being able to tell the difference between the two. He went on to brag about doing speeches for De Beers and instead tried to talk me into financing a "real" diamond instead. I told him that if he didn't want to sell me a lab made diamond, that I will just purchase the setting, to which he responded, "I'll gladly take your money." After feeling extremely disrespected I searched far and wide for another jeweler with the setting my fiancee had wanted, driving from Columbus, Detroit, and Ann Arbor. After failing to find the setting, I swallowed my pride and ended up purchasing the setting and a lab grown diamond from C Sterling, but they have lost any potential business from me in the future. The owner stripped the joy and excitement of purchasing an engagement ring away from me, and I can't recommend others in similar situations to do...

The C Sterling experience is none like any other. When you become a client you are a client for life! My Husband and I met as students at BGSU back in 2012. When military service took him elsewhere, C Sterling was dedicated in helping him create the ring he popped the question with January 2014! Through phone calls, emails and consults!
