*ERIE SHORES MATTRESS A BETTER CHOICE....DENVER MATTRESS PERHAPS.........ART VAN COMING TOO. BUYER BEWARE......VERY AWARE!!!!!! SHOP THERE...GET EDUCATED.....BUT THINK TWICE ABOUT PURCHASING HERE AT PERRYSBURG MATTRESS.

1. THEY CARRY ONLY ONE LINE OF MATTRESS WITHIN ONE BRAND OF MATTRESS-----SERTA I COMFORT HYBRID. THIS IS CRITICAL YOU KNOW THIS AHEAD OF TIME.
2. ASK THEM SPECIFICALLY WHAT THEIR RETURN OR EXCHANGE POLICY IS. THEY WILL NOT TELL YOU UP FRONT EXPLICITLY. THEY SAY IT IS IN THEIR PAPERWORK....HOWEVER ERIE SHORES WILL TELL YOU THIS UP FRONT.
3. THEIR EXCHANGE POLICY IS YOU IF YOU DOWNGRADE...YOU DON'T GET ANY MONEY BACK....IF YOU UPGRADE....YOU PAY MORE.
4. THE OWNER IS NOT THE ONE RESPONDING TO ANY OF THESE POSTS....HE IS MIA IN FLORIDA AND IS NOT ACTIVE IN THE BUSINESS. SO IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE.....IT WON'T GET ADDRESSED BY HIM SINCE HE IS RETIRED. IT TOOK 2.5 MONTHS TO EVEN RESPOND NOT WITH A CALL BUT AN EMAIL...TOO LITTLE TOO LATE.
5. THE SALES GUYS ARE NOT INTERESTED IN TALKING ABOUT GOOD SLEEP AND GETTING YOU INTO THE CORRECT MATTRESS. IT IS ALL ABOUT SALES....PHIL IS A GOOD GUY....BUT LIKES TALKING ABOUT STUFF THAT IS NOT HELPFUL IN PICKING OUT A MATTRESS.
6. *30-40 PERCENT OF PEOPLE WILL NOT LIKE MEMORY FOAM AND THAT IS ALL THAT THEY SUPPLY IN THEIR ONE (1) BRAND AND LINE OF MATTRESSES. YOU WILL HAVE NOTHING TO SWITCH TO IN THE EVENT YOU ARE LIKE US WHO HAVE DEVELOPED NECK ISSUES WITH PERRYSBURG MATTRESSES ONLY MATTRESS.---SERTA I COMFORT HYBRID.
7. OTHER PEOPLE IN THE MATTRESS INDUSTRY AND PREVIOUS CUSTOMERS HAVE REACHED OUT TO US AND HAVE STATED THAT THEY ARE QUITE DIFFICULT TO DEAL WITH.....WISH WE HAD KNOWN PRIOR TO SPENDING 5400.00 WITH THEM.
8. 119th DAY IS CRITICAL.......YOU HAD BETTER LET THEM KNOW YOU ARE HAVING AN ISSUE. AFTER THAT....THEY WILL NOT CARE.

*As for recommending a store with a wide selection of makes, materials and manufacturers...Erie Shores would be a much better option for a small business supporter. NOTICE THE FAKE REVIEWS HERE ON PERRYSBURG MATTRESS BUT NOT ON ERIE SHORES....ALL 5 STARS FROM ALL 5 PEOPLE...YET THERE IS A BUNCH OF POSITIVES RIGHT AFTER ANY NEGATIVE REVIEWS.....AGAIN FAKE FAMILY/FRIEND REVIEWS As for our experience...here it is:

1. We bought and paid 5400.00 for a base and mattress.
2. We tried to like it the entire time.
3. Memory foam sleeps very hot...it's temp sensitive and as you heat it up, it becomes non supportive. Sleeping hot and developing neck issues.
4. We have begged and pleaded to speak with the owner...but, again, he is in Florida and not active in the business. Took 2.5 months to respond...albeit by email. Only to have a level of hubris thru the roof
5. We offered 1500.00 restocking fee. Almost a 30% fee to just move on and get a good nights sleep since Ryan became quite hostile at the fact we were having issues.
6. The manager lied saying nobody makes mattresses without memory foam.
7. Had to dispute the charges with our credit card until we knew what was going to happen.
8. Initially we were offered nothing....until we pressed hard.
9. Manager stated he would backdate paperwork to manipulate the system for a warranty return.
10. Got an offer on the mattress only...but when the credit card deal was complete....the store reneged on the offer.

In summation, Right when we notified this manager that we were having issues....it got hostile immediately. After a bad review.....Ryan put FAKE reviews on my company. This retailer does not care about it's customers, they will withhold info by not explicitly taking about policies. Needless to say, we are exploring all options to make ourselves whole the best we can. I really thought 1500.00 given to the store and we walk away to pursue another regular mattress was fairly reasonable.

*Be very cautious about purchasing here.....REMEMBER, THEY ONLY HAVE SERTA I COMFORT HYBRID MATTRESSES. If you don't like that manufacturer...or memory foam......you are...

Sorry its kinda long but I have many good things to say about my experience. I recently purchased an Extra firm queen mattress & Ergonomic foundation w/massage and I couldn't be happier! Yay!!! This is the bed I have wanted my whole life! Literally , ever since I watched the commercial for the Craftmatic Adjustable Bed when I was around 9. Add 41 yrs of normal body wear and tear w/ nearly 20yrs of nursing on to that and now instead of just "Wanting" one, I "Needed " one ! (Bad back, arthritic hips , leg neuropathy really make it hard to stay comfortable and get a good night sleep) **A big plus for me w/ this foundation, but not the only plus , is I no longer have to elevate my legs using pillows that move all over the bed and need to be readjusted a couple times a night. This bed is straight up LOVE

I stopped in at Perrysburg Mattress to look and see what they had. I talked to Brian, explained what I was after and he showed me what they had. He was very helpful, answered my questions, and let me "test" at my leisure. I left there and went shopping to quite a few different stores, and left most because of attitude, and or product, as well as "buy now" Ending up going back to see Brian and again he was very helpful. Ended up not only with the mattress I wanted but also the adjustable platform that I didn't think I could afford. We set a delivery date and time, they showed up on time, took my old set away, set up the new platform and mattress and gone with in an hour. I've been in sales for over 40 years, it takes a lot to impress me, and I was very impressed with everything. These...
