We took a weekend trip up north to Petoskey with our two medium-sized dogs. It was great to have a clean, well-maintained, large neighborhood park (encompassed a few acres with some large trees) a couple miles from our hotel so our girls could take a potty break and walk a bit during the day when we were out driving. We saw at least one dog waste receptacle w/bags at the edge of one corner of the park, which was convenient. The park wasn't crowded when we were there but there was at least a dog or two with its owner or parents with kids hanging out part of the time. This isn't a dog park where you can take your dogs off leash to run free, although we did play fetch with one of our girls when the park was empty (she's well behaved and comes when we call her back to us).
