TECH PFIX — Attraction in Pflugerville

⭐ 1 Star I took my Xbox to Tech PFIX to have the HDMI port repaired. When I first called, I was told it could possibly be done in a day and the cost would be $170 plus tax. It ended up taking 3 days, which I was okay with—things happen. But when I got it home, I noticed the HDMI port still didn’t feel right. The cable was loose, and the only way I could get a signal was by pushing on the cable a certain way—not how a properly repaired port should function.

I called them a few days later to let them know the issue was still there, and they told me to bring it back. I work out of town and wasn’t able to get there myself, so I finally had my brother bring it in and explain the situation. Despite me calling ahead and explaining the issue was from the original repair, they told him I’d still have to pay the full price again to have it fixed.

I’m extremely disappointed. I paid nearly $200 for a repair that didn’t last, and instead of making it right, they expect me to pay the same amount again. That’s just bad business. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on...

This is by far the best place that will not scam you out of fixing your devices no matter how mediocre it is thankfully, my device didn’t need to be cracked open.

The new system update for android messed up my 2019 Galaxy note 9 if it wasn’t for this man, I don’t know what I would do for one. I didn’t know how I would get out of there. It’s very humbling when you have to rely on GPS but with how crazy Austin is, I really needed it.

My wife dropped the her IPhone XR in water in the morning on Sunday while getting ready for work. Screen looked fine but, touchscreen would not work. Called TechPfix first to make sure they where open. I told the technician exactly what happened. He assured it was just probably the screen & would check & see if it had any other liquid damage. He gave me a quote & repaired the phone in about 30 minutes. He dried out any liquid left inside the phone. The price was fair & way cheaper then getting a replacement refurbished or new phone.
