ROLLIE ROLLS — Restaurant in Pflugerville

This was my first time visiting the Austin area and I luckily discovered the most unique rolled ice cream / boba shop ever. They have every Asian snack or candy you can think of. I got the almond milk tea smoothie with boba. The flavor was great, not too sweet, the smoothie was smooth, no clumps, so a perfect sip every time and the boba was fresh. I also got the loaded tator tots topped with homemade chili and jalapeños. It was very unique and delicious. It was chilly outside so the crunchy tots and warm chili was perfect, but I ate it so fast I forgot to take a pic. I'll have to come back and try their signature item, the rolled ice cream. They looked amazing, but I was too full. They also have a wide and unique selection of cup and packaged ramen that you could enjoy there or take home. I bought one of the Buldak packs to try at home and it was amazingly delicious. The shop had a young, fun & hip vibe and the staff were super friendly. You could tell the shop owners put a lot of effort into making their shop so welcoming. I felt like a kid again just hanging out and enjoying my drink and food. I wish there was a place like this back home for me, but if y'all are in the area then you must come back multiple times to try all the things...

AUSTIN has a new destination for rolled Icecream and it is in Pfluegerville! Heard about Rollie Rolls from my barber, and being disappointed with the other options in austin, we decided to take the drive and give it a try. And man, was it worth it. This store is not part of a chain, but owned and operated by a charming couple with a passion for what they do - and you can feel and taste that!

Tried the Nana with strawberry, banana and chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. Awesome. We also tried the Bamboo with green tea and strawberries, equally great. We got talked into trying one of their Rollie Rolls drinks, a flavored tea with jellies and pieces of fruit. Refreshing and delicious. We are going to have to come back and work our way through the long list of flavors.

Had to come back for a “Tropical”....

Went in for some ice cream after dinner. We were greeted immediately and our order was taken. It didn't take take long for us to receive our treats. While waiting for our order, I noticed how well the staff worked together and balanced taking orders while helping each other complete orders. They were doing customer service and restaurant management right. The store was very clean and well taken care of. The sitting area was a little small but seemed to be the perfect size for the people coming and going eating their ice cream. The ice cream was awesome! it was mixed, frozen, and rolled into little rolls before going into the cup, then topped with your favorite topping from a selection at the counter.
