Golden Chick — Restaurant in Pflugerville

Okay so Golden Chick's Wicked Wings are beYOND delicious, hands probably the best I'm the fast food BUSINESS! If you love Juicy, spicey crispy wings, GO HERE!

Now for this particular restaurant, reason for the 3 stars in service is because of the wait due to the lack of employee. May not be exactly there fault but atleast keeping someone in the front so they can take orders and not have customers waiting for literally 5 to 10 minutes just place an order.. I haven't yet experienced that in other well functioning restaurants that also lacking employees.

The place is remodeled and looks and feels great! Country music, so just a heads up if you are choosing to eat inside and don't like that style. Though I find it fitting for Texas! Lol

Price has gone up on foods, but only due to the times not greed, because it is still not alot. You're talking for two people about 25$. I'd give it $/$ (one full $ and a half $)

I rarely leave reviews, and very rarely would I leave a negative review on a business. I felt the need to do so this time because this place has gone down hill and it’s sad to see because I used to love their food having grown up here. The bottom of my bag of food was completely drenched with gravy, I was not given any forks or spoons, I was missing a side after asking the lady at the window twice for my correct order (I guess I should have checked and verified). They were too occupied giggling and chatting in the back to complete orders in a somewhat timely manner. I was also given the wrong sized drink but just wanted to leave with what I had at that point, this place has good food almost always, or at least it did in the past. Stinks to say that in my opinion, theres many other chicken restaurants that do it better than this Golden...

Ordered online through Postmates. They were on the ball and delivery was quick.

However, my order was all sorts of messed up. It was correctly listed on the receipt that was attached to the bag. Upon opening it up, I discovered there was no ketchup, incorrect salad dressing, no Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce, and no fork. Cool, I rolled with those punches and stuck my salad in the fridge for dinner.

The chicken sandwich was missing pickles. That's 25% of the ingredients for that item.

So after a "meh" lunch, I'm looking forward to a salad for dinner. The chicken tender salad I ordered was apparently the vegan variant, as the chicken was completely absent. I popped the lid, peeked under the lettuce, and sure enough, no chicken.

If you're ever unsure what you want to eat, just order from here I guess. Who knows what'll actually...
