Glendinning Rock Garden — Attraction in Philadelphia

It's a gorgeous spot and a nice adventure if you're up for it. The bottom rock garden area is well kept and pretty. Bamboo near the periphery, a stream, comfy grass and pretty trees for shade. A place people go for picnics and peace. Enjoy the refreshing air and greenery and make sure to clean up after yourself.

You can check out the top sections, just watch your back and front, normal hiking precautions. People are usually chill, I've never had an issue but it can be pretty heavily covered in brush here and there, poison ivy and all the usual.

This is a great park for a sunny afternoon. Occasionally, there are events here with outdoor music / dancing, or other games. They also have weddings here occasionally, but most of the time it's just a great park to hang out in. The pathways on the north side of the park lead up into an elevated area which used to have some BMX bike jumps, and usually has some homeless folks who set up camp here, but I've never had any issues with anyone or felt unsafe.
