Hello! On this day that I visited the store I walked in after shooting a commercial in the cafe across the street from the it. I was feeling ill so I came in to possibly get something to eat and drink. I don't normally shop at this store (I do all of my shopping at Whole Foods) so I wasn't familiar with the products & I changed my mind, decided to call my Uber ride & eat at home. My question is, is it store policy to stop people at the door, call them back & check their personal belongings ONLY because they didn't buy anything in your store or was it because I'm a young black woman & your employees are trained to assume all people who looking like me must be shoplifters? I Almost missed my Uber ride that day. I have never nor would I ever shoplift & defiantly not from an Aldi's store. A store I don't even shop at, that also doesn't sell anything near the level of what I'm use to eating. I was offended & annoyed & I'd like an explanation of why I was treated the way I was in your store that day. I never have nor will I ever spend a dime in this store in the future & I'll make sure anyone I come across knows if ever your store comes up in...

Read moreI've always thought aldi food quality was off because their food was so cheap but when I moved into the neighborhood a couple years back, I decided to give it a try and I was more then impressed.... I actually enjoy some aldi brand items more than name brands.... I also found out that aldi is so cheap because of the way they run their business (25 cents for a cart, 5 cents for a bag) and lines get long because they only have a few employees working compared to bigger grocery stores who have dozens... so if you don't want to wait in line, go spend more money at acme or somewhere else... it's so ironic because I always hear people complaining about waiting in line but in reality if they hired more employees, then their prices would go up... don't be afraid to start a conversation with someone while you wait... it'll help pass the...
