iMunch Cafe — Restaurant in Philadelphia

Breakfast was delicious. This is a nice but small establishment with reasonably priced food items.

They have a breakfast bar on the main level with 4 bar stools and additional table seating upstairs. This place is not wheelchair friendly. There are two steps to get to the entrance door and to access the upstair tables, there are spiral stairs.

We placed our order and went upstairs. Our food was brought to us in containers which I like because in the event you have leftovers, you can just put the lid back in your food and take it with you. PERFECT!

The food and my caramel latte were delicious. I ordered the French toast topped with sliced strawberries and Turkey bacon. I was surprised to get 4 slices of Turkey bacon. Typically when I order Turkey bacon, I only receive 3 pieces so that extra piece was a treat. Lol!

My sister ordered the vegetable omelette with grits and Turkey bacon. She enjoyed her food and vanilla latte.

I would come back and try something else on the menu.

TIP: parking in the lot across the street. You are there temporarily and will be fine. I choose a slot off the side away from the entrance...

I ordered through grubhub. While my Grubhub experience was terrible, my experience with iMunch was excellent. I am a 60 old disabled senior. I wasn’t feeling well enough to cook so I ordered via Grubhub. I checked the app & saw the food was marked delivered. I go online to report it missing & grubhub offers to resend the order. I haven’t eaten all day & I’m shaking from hunger. A kind gentleman at the restaurant calls & tells me grubhub never picked up the 1st order. I text grubhub, the best they can do is resend the order. My food arrived at 4:45pm. It was still warm except for the coffee because the 2nd person didn’t knock or text when they dropped off the food so it sat on the steps for a minute. Nevertheless it was well seasoned & tasty. I’m sure it would have been better under better circumstances. I appreciated the restaurant calling me & would definitely try them again but probably not...

I have literally never left an online review before, but I was so impressed I had to. I’ve worked in cafes before so I know how hard it can be to keep up with a rush and maintain quality. I stopped by to pick up an online order on a Sunday during the lunch rush. My order was done right within the window I was told to expect, the service was great, and the food was amazing. If you compare the quality and price to other cafe spots even like a Starbucks it’s clear that this is a stand out. I’ve been in West Philly for years and have been searching for a locally owned cafe like this one. Reading the chefs bio on the website made me even more excited to try and I was not disappointed.
