So this is, by far, my favorite museum of science. The place is laid out by category, not chronologically. Every section is incredibly detailed and has a lot of displays. It's hands off, but nothing is behind glass. It's all available to look at and walk around. They have an incredible periodic table touch screen display where you can learn more about each element. They also have special exhibits that change every so often. It's a great place to visit that I recommend highly, especially if you want something interesting to do for 2-3 hours.
