South Philly Nails — Attraction in Philadelphia

I've been coming here for pedicures for a while, the service is always great but today they raised the bar and I didn't think that was even possible. I got a spa pedicure, which is absolute heaven on earth, done by Lucy who has amazing hands that put me in a trance. Every pedicure comes with a hot rock massage, which is my favorite part of the pedicure, it is very classy and very relaxing. I have never gotten a hot rocks at any other salon. While at the pedicure bowl, Ken came and sat next to me to do my very natural looking overlay, and he gives the best massages, I wish I could steal him 😫. At other Salons you would be there for hours because they are usually done as two separate services, today's service was really elevated by having them done at the same time, gave me back at least an hour that I was planning to spend there. I come from west philly to get my nails done, but I'd make the commute here even if I lived in Antarctica. This salon is not just the best in South Philly, but the absolute best in Philly! Good in the neighborhood! I was a little hesitant because I usually never go to a place less than 4.5. Just for my own safety and sanity. However, a local gave me this recommendation as “everyone that lives around here goes here.”

I’m actually pleased. It was a little noisy, from customers playing their phone on loud to nail techs talking to each other in their native tongue. I honestly prefer a high end nail salon with no noise. I prefer the relax feeling. This place is a bit more casual.

Everyone working was friendly. Although my nail tech didn’t speak any English, he did a 8/10 job. Very detailed with cuticle scaping on the pedicure. I wish there was a little more massage intensity.

The woman who did my nails was also friendly but she cut my cuticle on two fingers. There was a little blood for a few days.

I would go back and request no cuticle cutting but it was a good experience.

(South Philly nails /lavish nails) .I went today for the first time . It was last minute because the place I usually go was busy . I’m glad that happened . I really enjoyed myself . I can’t like most nail salons I’ve been to over the years the people aren’t that friendly and they often give you rush jobs but not here , Everyone was so nice and I feel they took time and care on the work done . I love my full set and pedicure . ken did my nails and he did them perfectly . I always have the issue at most nail salons where they don’t bring the acrylic all the way down to the cuticle making the job look older than it should . I didn’t have that issue here . He did it exactly how I like and I didn’t have to say it or ask . Please forgive me but I forgot the gentleman name that did my pedicure but he did a good job as well .
