Jomar Stores — Local services in Philadelphia

I love this place! I do some reselling on eBay and Poshmark. As others have stated it is hit or miss. I bought some name brand shirts two days ago for $1 each. Nothing super high-end, DKNY, New York & Company, Aéropostale etc. Mostly, I go for the fabric. I am a sewer, and the prices here cannot be beat. I bought 10 yards of upholstery fabric, very good quality, and it only cost me $2.99 per yard! When I go elsewhere, upholstery fabric is normally $15-$25 a yard. The only issue I have is they had an outlet in South Philadelphia which of course was much more convenient for me. It's so sad they moved. I don't get to go as often. I believe they lost their lease. At least that's what it says on the front door of the old place. Stock changes often. For instance, I went a few weeks ago looking for velvet, and they didn't have any. I went 2 days ago and they had bolts and bolts of gorgeous colors. You just have to be patient if you want...

I Have a problem with Jomar Rewards program. I was told by a employee that I had $10 rewards available after spending $200 . I was going to use my rewards at the time of checkout and the lady employee told me that I didn't have to use it now at checkout I can use it when ever I wanted. So I didn't use it at checkout. I came back the next week and found some items when I wanted to checkout and use my $10 the manager said I have to spend $10 to use the $10 I thought that was a unethical and greedy business practice. I should be able to use my $10 without spending any additional money. I have never heard of a rewards program that does this. I told the manager I was very upset and was going to give a bad review because I could of used my rewards points on my last purchase. I live a hour away from Jomar so this was very disappointing. This is a shady business practice and Jomar should be ashamed...

Me and my daughter shopped into the JOMAR store bcz she wanted get a bathing suit bcz she going on a cruise, now she found a top that was $29.99 and the bottom swim wear was $1.99 but now check this out when my daughter went to the front of the store the lady cashier rung up the bathing suit, my daughter didn't believe her eyes she paid for the 2 pieces was $6 dollars so that's when my daughter went back to get the other bathing suit she wanted. Now that was a big jump from $29.99 to $6.00. So after ringing up everything my daughter only paid for everything $14. So if you are looking for any type of bathing suit wear go to JOMAR .Jomar has some nice reasonable items there.
