I was a bit hesitant at first about ordering from this place because all the reviews I read seemed a bit disappointing, however when I received my first order of yellow rice and ribs I was truly satisfied, and so was my girlfriend. I chose not to make a review on that day since it could've been a fluke. Then I placed two separate orders on two separate days. Each day I thought I would receive a messed up order, yet each order was better than the next. The Ribs were flavorful and juicy not tough. The white rice and steak are absolutely delicious! I ordered a platter from them and paid 25 dollars in all for delivery. The food was dry as hell, the plantains were not sweet, there was barely any gravy which is crazy because as a Caribbean woman, we LOVE gravy for our rice! Even the chicken was dry. I was truly disappointed, because a friend of mine recommended the place to me, being new in in Philly. They need to really pay attention to detail when an order is placed and make sure that they are serving food the way they would want to receive it. Worse experience ever ‼️ Staff refused to release my food after ordering and paying online. I spent over 30 min trying to explain my online order and no one believed it or took the time out to check there computers. I was denied service because they only understand Spanish and couldn’t comprehend that my payment was made. Even after speaking with multiple staff including the owner. My order was still with held.
