The good reviews gotta be CAP or they was drunk when they put them up or they had another chef, I don't know for the love of god! Benefit of the doubt, it's Friday night and I ordered in? NO! The Octopus salad was mad rookie! The octopus itself was chewy and all you could taste was lemon! Any Latino knows you eat octopus salad the next day from the fridge and it's hittin when it's cold! This was like taking a bite of lemonade with sugar. My son tasted the "pastelillo" and spit it out immediately. If a kids taste buds ain't feeling it, you know it ain't right! I called the restaurant to let them know about they food and the person on the other line seemed apologetic and said she would forward to the chefs and manager. But like I told her on the phone "first and last time, don't even want a credit or anything". People can make there own decisions but to keep it 💯, the chinos on 6th and luzerne make better octopus salad than them. If a chino making a better pulpo than a latino, you know something ain't right.We ain't even gonna talk about the mash potatoes because that's all it was. Mashed potatoes, not even a drop of salt. After this meal (which I can't call it that because it wasn't even consumed) I feel the need to start reviewing food because some people on here frauding with all them stars. Took my family of 4 here on a Wednesday night and I was not impressed at all. The only thing that's nice about this establishment is the friendly waitress that greets you at the door and promptly seats you...she's super sweet. Prices have increased which she informs you, so nvm the prices on the menu she says. Now why is it so hard to reprint a paper menu with the current prices is beyond me...but let me continue. If the prices matched the quality of food? I would totally have given this place at least 4 stars, but it didn't. I ordered 2 diff types of steak dinners plus a chicken dinner & 1 kids meal which came to $100 in total. It was all worth maybe $60 at best. They include 15% gratuity in your bill which I'm fine with but the service could be better. The asparagus was subpar. The steak was so-so. Food took about 15min too long to come out & there was only 1 other family in the restaurant when we arrived a little after 7pm. Definitely will not be returning to give them another shot. Ordered Shrimp Alfredo through Uber eats tonight, and it was delivered in about 35 mins but was cold and sour. It tasted just like spoiled milk. One of the managers tried to blame it On Uber but I’ve ordered from here before several times and my food has always taken 45 mins or more to be delivered and it’s always been hot. Tonight was the quickest I’d ever gotten my order which let me know that they had a plate of shrimp Alfredo just sitting around and bagged it for my order. I tried to speak to management but the phone was passed around three times to different people. The first two hardly spoke English and the last woman said she was a manager on duty but had the nastiest attitude. She didn’t let me tell her what was wrong with my order and tried to snap at me bc I told her my last name when she asked what my name was - she didn’t care that the my order was stale and she literally resolved nothing.
