The Cutting Point Salon — Attraction in Philadelphia

I got my hair cut in October 2018 but I waited this long to review just so I can talk about my hair transformation. When I made the appointment, it was for deva cut. However because my hair was too damaged, she couldn’t do that cut. I made a mistake by getting a grey ombré 3 years ago and it ruined my texture. And I was never able to find a hair salon where they are an expert on curls. My friend recommended this place to me and I’m glad she did. Joanne used the deva products and as she was taking care of my hair she taught me how to take of my curls so that they become healthier again. And omg ever since then my hair has looked AMAZING! When I first walked in everyone turned and looked at me and no one greeted me. Few minutes later a lady came to the desk and said hi. I told her my name and appointment time. My appointment was at 1. I got there about 12:52. She took me into the back. I met Nicole. She was sweet. I showed her a picture or 2. Then I got my hair washed and the cut started. By 1:19 everything was done. A little over 22 minutes for a wash and cut. I feel like no time went into me or my cut. There's nothing to this cut. It's shorter than I wanted. I absolutely hate it! I look worse now than before. I feel I was rushed. Not to mention, I was told to put my jacket and bag in the chair next to me, when I came back from the wash, my stuff was thrown on the counter in the corner. I have been a client of the Cutting Point for years. Nicole is my hairdresser. She’s very professional and gives her honest opinion when I have hair questions. I have been getting a trim but over the past year have noticed grey growing in around the frame of my face. I decided to color my hair for the first time, and get highlights!!
