I just have 2 comments about my visit to Best Buy #249. I went to the store looking for a new monitor. I walked all the way to the back, there was no customers in the area. The clerk right away acknowledged me and offered help. However, his level of help is more to show me from his computer instead of showing me what he has readily available on the floor. First comment, I rather see what is available for purchase. I literally have to ask multiple times to point me in the direction of the monitors. Second comment, after we got to the monitor are I found an LG Monitor at a better price than the one the he was showing me but when I asked the sale person about the better priced monitor he checked and told me that the monitor was priced wrong. I asked if I could get the advertised price and off course he said no. I asked him to check and all he did was to contact somebody thru his radio just to tell the person that many monitors were price wrong. I asked him again about the price and he said no again. Unfortunately, I need a monitor right away so I have no choice but to get another one, almost double the price ($319.00, ) of the one I found. I'm a little disappointed with the misleading price advertisement practices and the overall customer experience from this store.

If I could leave a negative 1 star on this place I would. I have never ever ever wrote anything negative about any place I’ve been too even if it was awful but this location and one particular employees attitude was THAT bad to where I am sitting in my car right now outside this location writing this. I asked a very simple question because the employees are suppose to have more knowledge on tech stuff right? This employee talked to me in such a degrading way that it made me feel so stupid for even asking for help. They did not even bother to offer me the assistance I needed and instead sent me to the back where my device was located. I stood there looking stupid as he instead walked another customer over to help him out. Trust me we have all worked lousy jobs but at the end of the day aren’t employees there to HELP? I’m sorry to everyone else at this location but this one employee left me not wanting to come to this location ever again. I won’t post the persons name but if management wants to know who it is I would be more than happy to let them know.

We found our way quickly to the tablets with a plethora of options (Samsung, HP, Microsoft, Apple etc) of course all were in their respective section per brand. Jonathon was eager to help us with his associate Cody. We found the Microsoft Go Tablet with their assistance and were given the low down. We had previously done a little research online and in store at Frys Electronics - which we had mentioned to them and they had no problem price matching. We walked away with the perfect tablet and with extra knowledge per these guys. Thanks! We'll be back!

Had a great experience walking in. Greeted first thing by the employees. The store was easy to maneuver. It was bright, clean and organized. We found our way quickly to the tablets with a plethora of options (Samsung, HP, Microsoft, Apple etc) of course all were in their respective section per brand. i have bought three appliances and I have paid for professional install. They use a 3rd party contractor to install the equipment, they installed 2, and they could not install the dishwasher. They did not give a reason and they did not even leave the kit that I bought. The service man that came to our house said that they will contact us. 3 days passed and no one contacted us. I called best buy and after I was forwarded to the right person, the agent was apologetic and said that she will send them again to connect the dishwasher, the earliest appointment was in 3 days. I told the agent, that my wife is overseas and her phone won't be reachable so use my number since I am still in town. I get a phone call on the intended day of the second appointment and they told me that they have been trying to contact us but no answer and apparently they were using my wife's number. The guy who called me was his name was Tyron and told me that the team has changed their route as "my wife didn't answer". I explained to him that I have told the previous agent to use my number. I told him that I will be available at the house and gave him clear instructions and said, please contact me again when they are on the way. I did not receive a call back. 3 hours later, I call geek squad support and a junior call center answered and she told me that they didn't go to my apartment because they did not have the equipment needed. I told her that this is unprofessional and I asked for the refund for the services that I paid for which were not done in addition to the Kit that I bought and was not left at my place (170$ + 25$ for the kit). She could not refund me. I asked her that I want to speak to a manager and she declined. So I ended up going to a best buy branch where I was welcomed by the manager at the front door and I explained to him the issue, he forwarded me to one of the employees. The employee spent almost half an hour at least bouncing between agents to find the right agent to solve my issue and finally got hold of someone who was a "manager" and asked her if she could explain to me what's going on. The manager told me over the phone that we were missing a part that we were supposed to have for the installation. I told her "how am I supposed to know which part, and how come bestbuy provides an installation service without being prepared for it." I reiterated the fact that this is the second appointment and at this time, they did not even show up and I received no phone call about their decision not to show up. She claimed that i wasn't at the house while I clearly told Tyron that when they are on the way, I will make my way back to the apartment. I then said that this is not acceptable and very unprofessional and all of a sudden I discover that the manager hang up the phone.

I was very frustrated and i told them, I am requesting a refund for the service that I paid for and the kit that I haven't received and the local agent at best buy said that they cannot refund me since it was part of an order with multiple items. I told him that this is ridiculous and unfair and sort of a scam. He called in someone else to help and after half an hour, they only refunded the service 170$ and said that they cannot refund the kit nor they can give me another kit and they are not responsible for the 3rd party service that geek squad hires to do the installation.

This installation was supposed to be for a rental property that I own and I already had 2 bookings that I had to cancel because of this issue. I have spent more than an hour at best buy waiting till they finally refunded me the service. You would imagine how much time I spent in phone calls before I even went to best buy. I have tried to reach out to supervisors to file a complaint but I failed and I am dissatisfied with the customer service. I would have been better off if they told me from the beginning that they cannot provide such service than waste all my time running around and waiting to discover that they cannot install...

I write this review and expressed my opinion only to know that nobody’s ever going to do anything about this at Best Buy but I still must stand on my soapbox and explaining to the world how bad the customer service at the location of 35th and Thunderbird actually

I went to this location today to pick up my daughter‘s tablet, as well as a screen protector replacement and a new iPad. When I arrived to the store, there were security as normal at the front door and a handful of associates. I then proceeded to the phone section to talk to the Verizon people about upgrading my wife’s iPad and there were a couple people there but everybody that was there was being attended to, so I didn’t think the line would be that long. I waited for about 10 to 15 minutes and everybody was still being attended to there and there was nobody available so I went over to the geek go ahead and get my screen cover replaced, but there was a line there so I went back to the phone place looking for my wife when I got back there. I was informed that they have sent my wife back to the Apple section and I was wondering why because now everybody was available and yeah so as I walked back to my wife, she’s at the Apple section. There is one associate at a registered checking somebody out and three or four associates are standing at the end of the aisle directly across from the Apple section one being the manager wearing his black shirt. I then stand there with my wife for about 10 minutes waiting for somebody to come and see us and see if they can’t help us out and nobody does the associate that is ringing somebody out finishes up with the client walks them over to the manager who is still standing at the end of the aisle with the other two associates and says something turns them over grabbed his buddy and then goes over to the car audio section and starts playing music on stereos at this point there are no associates in the Apple section about five minutes go by I watched 3 to 4 more associates walked by us and literally stare at us with one being the manager in a black shirt. I look at my wife and I said I forget this. Let’s not buy an iPad at the store. Let’s just go and get the Tablet. We already paid for it and go home. We get to the front register to pick up the tablet we tell them hey we’re here to pick up a tablet. They say anything else I said yes I need to get my screen plate cover replaced and they said how’s everything else? I explain to them. We’ve been in the store now for 35 minutes and you were the first person we have talked to we had the intent of coming in here to buy an iPad and some other things but you’re all customer service or the Ignoring of us is just absolutely unacceptable so we’re just going to go on at this point the guy apologize, which was OK wet and got the tablet in at that point we were like OK let’s leave then as we were getting ready to leave the Manager. I guess it hurt to say the statement that I said to the associate comes over and goes hey can I go ahead and put that screen on for you and I looked at him I said so you all are now trying to help us and he ask what happened I explained to him and he goes well that didn’t happen. I said you, Blake looked at me in the back and walked away And didn’t care even associate. I acknowledge us back then and he then Mom would something else under his breath and started walking away and that’s how you treat your customers. You can’t even have a conversation you just mumble under your breath and walk away. I have never seen more unprofessional people in my life in one arena that just can’t accept that they were too busy upfront just having fun joking around having cooler talk at the security desk and helping their clients. I just moved in the area and I was walking to Lowe's and was meeting my cousin to go buy a TV I was not welcomed by the security in the front but he welcomed other people .I went straight to the TV looked at the TVs no one offered me any help at all I was purchasing a TV for my granddaughters to watch because we just got a brand new home down the street.I grabbed an antenna put it on the cart with the TV went up to the register there was a young female in the front and a woman cut me in front of the line I didn't say anything I was just like that's fine still no welcome or anything from anybody a young man came up he said I will take who's next he had scanned the TV and then I said oh you forgot this and it was the antenna I made sure he scanned it he scanned it and then the security guard came up and said what about that geek bar in your purse and I didn't know what he was talking about and I said excuse me? In your purse and I showed him I said that's my tooth medicine because I have a toothache and I carry tooth medicine in my purse I had just purchased it earlier. He said oh never mind and walked away he embarrassed me in front of all of these people he did not apologize I was so upset because of him and the sales associate , I couldn't find my card because I was so upset. They had smirks on their faces I said you know what I'm not going to purchase this I said I need to speak to your manager. The young man said well he's busy with other people not seeing that this was important that this man had just embarrassed me and head upset me so bad that I didn't want to purchase anything at that point he didn't care. I spoke with the manager he said well that's his job that's what he does and I said I understand I said my bag looks full but I'm a grandmother and I carry my bag and have a bunch of stuff in it I was walking from the store and decided to buy a TV to surprise my grandchildren. I guess he didn't understand that that gentleman should have at least apologized to me instead of just walking away and just said oh never mind I really hate the way that people are treated in this area being new to this area experiencing prejudiced like everywhere you go if you are not I guess looking your best because I looked rough because I'm moving but still I was owed a apology at least and he should have not thought it was so funny the manager said well this is his job his job is a hard one yes I understand that being a security guard that's been there for 10 years is a hard one but that doesn't mean you assume that everybody that is in there is stealing especially when I even made sure that they rang up the antenna cuz they forgot to and they were just absolutely rude I will be contacting Best buy customer service. Sad part is is that they didn't even mind that they were losing business and I could say some things and say it's because I'm Hispanic or because I'm Brown but at the end of the day an jerk is a jerk. I worked in customer service for years loss prevention and I have never ever not said I am sorry and apologize and try to make things right if I was wrong it's just really sad that people have no kind of respect for people that work hard people that are busy that have hard lives and trying to get their homes together like I am and wanted to surprise my grandkids with the TV and ended up empty-handed because somebody assumed that my tooth medicine was whatever geek bar is or I don't know embarrassing me in front of all of those people I hope it made you feel like top notch FBI agent at Best...
