Great local branch of the Phoenix Library. Staff are friendly helpful and professional. They are kid friendly, in addition to reading and stories they have fun printed worksheets and crafts you can take home! Lots of parking, they are busy just most folks have short visits. They do have comfortable spots to sit and read.

This is a great library to read and relax, check out books, get vegetable and plant seeds for your garden, or check out a culture pass. There is also a nice play areas for children. I always bring my daughter here. The staff are always nice and helpful!

I stopped here briefly to use the free wifi to make an important call. This library advertises that it is a "safe place", meaning you can come here and escape the general persecution you receive if you get caught wearing a back pack and walking to your destination. At least until a Phoenix city security officer named Corbin (not certain of the spelling) came outside to show a landscaper (I'm assuming) or some other type of worker who would need to know where a water source was for early the next morning. He unlocked the hose bib with his key and told the employee in the brightly colored shirt that unfortunately he can't leave the hose bib unlocked because (gesturing towards me) these knuckleheads would abuse it. I quickly pointed out that was a violation of my civil rights, Corbin asked how so, I informed him that was discrimination based on my appearance wearing a backpack, he denied what I saw with my own eyes, said that everything was on camera, then told me that it was my word against his, which I took as more demeaning rhetoric from a person posing as my advocate. We need to have our rights restored. I am not currently homeless but was for several months after losing my job, as a sole provider in my house hold I had no safety net. I was not a criminal. I made a mistake and lost my job. Thanks Phoenix, for treating your community with such hostility for not having all of the advantages as the most elite of your members....

This is a nice small quiet library close to McDonalds, if you're hungry after reading. I really enjoy coming here to this location. Today they had their homeless ID project going on from 1-3 pm. They also help individuals who need their birth certificate. It is held every 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month. There were quite a few people here. The library staff are all so kind and wonderful. They are always willing to help. I signed up for their Summer Reading Program for adults and I went in today to log my reading hours as of June 1st. So far I have over 2,000 plus minutes of reading. I Love to read. I received a Raising Cane's coupon for a free frozen lemonade, 2 PHX Mercury tickets, an adult pass to one of the state parks and a Kool looking little bag. Those are just a few of the prizes. Their Summer Reading Program started June 1st and ends August 1st. If you want to get out of sight & mind, come to this library, open a book and read away. They also have computers you can use. Great Job to the...

the security guard kicked me off my computer beacuse im 18 when the sign on the teen area says 12-17 but the computer physically says 12-18. I wasnt bothering anybody its literally just a computer in the teen area then he starts asking to see my ID or my library card so he can check my age. 1st of all i was the only person in that area on the computer 2nd IM 18 and thats what the computer says and 3rd i will NEVER show ID to anybody thats not an armed police officer. pipe down buddy its just the library i think he only did it because i was black bc like i said ive been on the computer from 11am (the time they opened) until 2:40 (time i got kicked off). i wasnt bothering anybody like i said and why does being 1 year older really matter smh. the sign said 1 thing and the computer says another yall need to work on y'all...
