Salad and Go — Restaurant in Phoenix

I love Salad and Go. I’ve been a die hard for about 1.5 years and eat here almost every day. The prices rival general fast food so eating healthy on the go is now inclusive for all demographics. I’m a single professional who is usually very busy so buying a few salads to go at a time saves my mind, body and time. The salad recipes are all under a specific calorie amount, yet are tasty enough to be chosen over fast food. Eating here almost daily ensures that I always feel energetic and confident that I am getting some nutrition to help my future self remain healthy. There are weeks when I am so busy, I don’t have time to grocery shop and meal prep healthy meals. At the price point they offer, I can easily buy a few salads to take to work and eat dinner at home while keeping the same budget. The lines go by super fast and the staff is always great at every location.

Special mention to the drinks! $1 Mint Cucumber Lemonade is my go to summer refresher.

I no longer want to grab traditional drive through fast to get a quick meal in, these salads have 1/2-1/3 the calories and are super satisfying. If you love tofu - their tofu prep is delicious as well!

I don't know what happened at this location. I started to get the breakfast wrap after a coworker suggested them. I got the Mediterranean one. The first few times they were great! Then last week I got one and it was cold and I live around the corner from this location. Today I stopped by there after work and ordered the same wrap I've been ordering. I get home and it was busting at the seams literally with spinach. It stuck to the wrapper ripping a good bit of tortilla. I started eating it and it was nothing but spinach and some carrots thrown in. There was very little egg and feta. Then I tasted bacon. I can't eat bacon and the Mediterranean doesn't come with bacon. I had to spit that up and throw the remaining third away. I will not be returning to...

I would give it 5 stars because their salads and other menu items are great! I love it is right up the street from me now! My problem is that it is supposed to be open until 9pm, but the last 3 times that I have showed up there before 9, they have been closed! I read another review recently where the owner commented that "due to unforeseeable circumstances" they had to close that night, but it had happened to me 3 times in the last 2 weeks! I work evenings so between 8 and 9 is perfect on my way to work to grab a "salad and go"!! I was very disappointed when on the 3rd time especially, well before 9pm to find it closed already!
