Ahwatukee Nail Spa — Attraction in Phoenix

Okay so I don’t like knocking businesses because I give everyone the benefit of a doubt. I regularly try different nail salons in the valley but this was probably by far the worst work I’ve had done at a nail salon before. These nails were done a week and a half ago, so they are a bit pushed up now from nail growth but the most concerning part is when I asked for them to be short because I work full time on a keyboard, this is not what I had in mind. They are short but the acrylic is so over saturated it has curbed downward so I cannot type with my fingers. Not to mention it’s NOT aesthetically pleasing. The work done on these nails was haphazard at best and the artist didn’t even file the underside of the acrylic so there is extra acrylic hanging off the nails as well as natural nail growing past the acrylic. I tried to file most of it down my self but couldn’t get it all. It should have been a red flag when the artist was using her fingers to catch the dripping acrylic powder on the side, but I can never tell how it’s gonna go at each salon. The workers are very nice and let me walk in with my friend so we could both get ours done, but I am just upset that I spent a lot of money only to remove these a week later because they’re just more trouble and I can tell they...

One of the worse pedicures I ever had. I got $48 deluxe pkg. Included the callous remover and sugar scrub. I said I get calloused around my toes, but my heels are always smooth since I always wear socks.

Pam or maybe it her name was Tam, was very nice, but she only massaged my calves. I asked her to put lotion on my feet. She put it very lightly on one foot, then went back to massage my calves. She painted my toes decent.

After I was able to really look at my feet, I was 70 miles away. I noticed there was still some rough callous, and some nails were not filed, which is snagging on my socks. I hate paying $48 plus a $10 tip and getting a lousy pedicure. This could be why I was the only customer for the first 20 minutes. 3 others sitting around.

Always loved going to the salon until today. All the regular girls except a couple were not there. Where have they all gone and why? New manager, owners son, nice, but help seems so unhappy and no longer able to "care for" the customer. Nope you cannot sit in that chair to dry your nails, have to put next paying customer in chair. Woman who did my partners nails put new polish on without removing old polish and when requested that at least his two big toes be redone because the line where the old polish was really looked awful. Cannot do that with out permission from the manager....Really not the customer service we used to receive at this salon. Then the girl spoke to me in a disrespectful manner and that was the end of our customer loyalty!!
