Five stars for the employees. ZERO for the owner.
I cannot tell you how much fun I had doing this, I am 23 years old and I went by myself just to have a little craft time on my day off and I had a BLAST, everyone there was amazing especially Caitlyn and Mickey, they were both amazing people and helped me with any questions I had. They don’t rush you to finish or anything (I was there for 6 hours painting like 8 separate things) and they’re there to help and always compliment your work! They are all very professional and everyone else that was a customer also seemed to have the best time. Everyone working seemed like they loved being there around the art and I enjoyed my time so much, I seriously want to come back every day off I have and make something! Again, seriously one of the best creative experiences I’ve had, and I’ve already recommended it to tens of people! If I didn’t have a business already myself I’d actually want to work here to because that’s how much of a fun welcoming environment it was! They are all so very diligent with cleaning and making sure you have everything you need at your disposal to create your art. Again I thank everyone who was working there because I for real had the time of my life! Definitely making reservations is the best thing to do when you come here, they way they have everything set up for you, they have so many pieces of pottery to choose from and they also sell drinks and things too which was very lovely!
One thing I will say is the 5 stars is for all the people who are hired and working there, if I would I would give ZERO STARS to the owner. During my time there there happened to be a lockdown for a suspected shooting, all the staff was very very aware and helpful in the situation, we were locked down for the better part of 45 minutes and it was very stressful (as any experience like this could be) after the cops and security told us all it was safe and okay the owners of the store forced the employees to stay there until closing time even though every other store in the plaza closed and the employees went home. Blatant disregard to their employees by doing this, as a customer I would not have hesitated to leave and let them lockup after a stressful situation like that. Not okay. If I and when I do come back it will be for the employees and not the owner of the store. Every employee made us hide in the back room which was the best protocol they had and they did everything correctly to keep us safe and hidden if the worst was to happen. Better of 5 stars for everyone working there that day helping deal with such a...
Read moreI recently went to pick up my pottery and my pieces were not there. The store manager, Sam, tried to give me someone else's pieces and when I told him those were not mine and I had a picture he refused to look at it telling me I was wrong because the dates matched. I asked for a refund and when he refused I asked to speak to the district manager which he also refused. He continued to say I needed to take my pieces or get thrown out of the store. Other customers heard and were very concerned. I asked if he would take a look at the picture at least to show that these were not my pieces and he asked me to leave which I of course did. I have contacted the district manager but I'm beyond shocked at the treatment especially on something like an honest mistake that they gave our stuff away to somebody else or they didn't have it. Those things happen and a refund would be fair. There was no yelling or screaming so I just want people to avoid this place and I would highly suggest boycotting this particular store and especially the store manager. I still have not received a refund but I have asked the district office if they would please help accommodate and shown them the evidence buy a picture of what he tried to give me and what we did actually do. Please avoid the store especially if you're looking to make a memory with somebody special because you cannot be confident that you will be treated fairly nor given the right things. Be safe everybody and stay away...
Read moreHad a tween birthday party here. Any place that is willing to accommodate more than one tween deserves a gold medal. Everything was set up on time, all the supplies were clean and ready to go, and the table was decorated with balloons as ordered in the extra options online. Our host/helper was Teaghan, and she covered everything. I mean the girl barely sat down, she was taking care of all the things.. Labels, paint supplies, writing their names on their pieces beautifully, cleaning up as everyone was finishing, answering every tween question they had, gave the tweens cards with special offers to return, I didn’t even have to ask her about the birthday plate/keepsake.. she already passed it around & told everyone how to sign it and she had an overall pleasant attitude with us. Imagine, finding a place that actually has awesome customer service.. jackpot! It was truly a remarkable experience for everyone who attended. So many of them talked about coming back together. The birthday selection of pottery pieces was incredibly appropriate for every age, and appealed to each and every tween (rarity). The checkout process was even easier, no hidden fees, no trying to up sell us.. you really can’t beat that. We grabbed our goody bags, paid and left. If you’re looking for an easy and hassle free place to host your party, look no further. Book here, you...
