I had to write this review, although usually not a person to write one star reviews. I had this really bad experience with this server named rosy for a pick up order. I called to place my order while I was driving on the way to the restaurant. This lady told she would put me on hold and I waited for couple of minutes yet she wasn't back. By the time I reached restaurant I was put on hold still, when I walked into the restaurant, the lady was busy serving other customers. It was hardly two tables in the entire restaurant, yet I was put on hold for that long to just get my order in. Is this how each customer is prioritized? As soon as I confronted her that she kept me on hold on the phone, she is not even apologetic about her behavior instead she tells me she was busy with arrogance. Later after I placed my order with another server, I came back to pick up my order. I saw her literally throwing my food bag on the table and she tells me to pick it up by myself again with arrogance. This is totally unacceptable and I'm very disappointed by the service. The owner of the restaurant should make efforts to be aware of such poor service. I don't think I'll ever visit this restaurant. I do not recommend the service...
Read moreWalking up, you can smell the amazing aroma of curry. Today was my first visit and every step of the way, I was treated with kindness, patience, and amazing customer service. (I came here on a quick lunch - it was affordable and fast.)
Desiree took my order. She was patient, kind and answered all of my questions. Emma was very kind and helpful also. Good energy all the way around. Lastly, CeeCee handed me my to-go order with a smile. Such a lovely team!
I ordered the chicken masala and wow. So delicious and it stayed hot during my short commute. I also got one of their strawberry slushy drinks and it’s so good!
I wrote most of this raving review before even trying the food, because atmosphere and customer service are both so important! (Especially with the first time experience.) I will absolutely be making a point to come back. Signing up for their loyalty program was also very simple.
Side note - if you’re following Apple Maps, it may not put you in the right place. Park next to Yard House and you’ll find it! (I called Tikka Shack to ask where they were and the girl who answered not only pointed me in the right direction, but did...
Read moreTl;dr this place gave my wife and I food poisoning and you shouldn’t eat here unless you hate your family or friends.
But you know what the worst part is? I call them a day after ordering and I asked them to refund my money (because who wants to pay for food poisoning). They totally dismissed my request, didn’t apologize, and told me a manager would call me back (spoiler: they never did). So, I had to get a refund through Caviar who didn’t issue a total refund.
The total utter lack of respect for customers is astounding. I’m sure they’ll reply to this comment and I’m also sure I’ll get a message from the Phoenix health department because I used the term “food poisoning” (they did this when I lived in NYC and had a similar experience. This whole thing could have been avoided if they apologized and refunded my money.
Fire this manager immediately. This is a very gnarly strain of food poisoning and they don’t seem to care at all.
Obviously we aren’t going back here and you shouldn’t either. Oh, by the way, we’re 99% sure it was the samosas or the naan. They’re the only things both my...
