If I could give Andrew and his team 10 stars - I would!! From start to finish Andrew was amazing and a very good communicator. Please note that not all Audio Express stores are the same and I visited two others before choosing to work with Andrew and his team. They are hands down the best car audio installers I have ever worked with and I have had several car systems installed in the past. Not only did Andrew install my system but he asked questions and addressed my issues. For example, I wanted to sound deaden the doors and back cab of my 2014 Toyota Tacoma. Andrew recommended sound deadening the roof also which I did not think about. Also he addressed my concerns like will my car stereo drain my battery? Andrew had a great solution to put a non acidic battery behind the back seat of my cab so that the stereo runs off of that battery instead of draining my main battery. Now on to the quality of the work. I am a very anal retentive piece of work! Andrew and his team are as Andrew put it "Artists" and he was right. Most car audio installers are careless, leaving wire fragments, greasy hand prints, etc. Not Andrews team...the install was perfect. Now on to follow up. A good car audio installer will call you after the install to ensure you are happy. Andrew did just that and even let me bring the truck back to address some steering wheel control mappings. Lastly here is my setup: Alpine ILX-107 Front: Morel Hybrid 602 Rear: Morel Tempo Ultra 602 Sub Box w/Amp: JL Audio ACP208LG-W3v3 Amp: JL Audio HD600/4 This system when I first installed it sent chills up my spine! It took awhile to take in its awesomeness. Thanks again Andrew and your team A+++++++ work!

Definitely the nicest sound system I’ve ever had installed in any of my cars. This was installed maybe a year ago at Audio Express in Phoenix off of Cactus Rd. These Kicker Comp 12R’s really sound amazing. I’ve noticed it sounds far better inside the sealed box vs the factory ported Kicker box it originally came in. I guess because I have a Honda HRV which doesn’t have a trunk it just sounds loud as hell. I’ve also noticed if I put the subwoofers facing upright towards the ceiling or facing the tailgate it sounds great regardless. I’m guessing that’s because the car is set up like a free air system. Just a big open cabin. The Kicker 1,200 Watt RMS amplifier is definitely working its magic. It’s safe to say that I’m definitely impressed by the installers at Audio Express. They did an outstanding job.

I’d been wanting a custom setup in my trunk for a while but was hesitant to let just anyone handle it. By chance, I came across Audio Express in Paradise Valley—and I’m so glad I did. Shawn walked me through the process and offered some awesome ideas that helped me really visualize the final look. Once I settled on a design, I dropped off the car and let the team work their magic. They were great about keeping me updated on the progress, and when I saw the finished install—wow! I was blown away. I wanted something low-key but still visually clean and impressive, and they absolutely nailed it. Can’t wait to have the rest of the car done by this team. Thank you!

Extremely glad I ended up here. I bought a used car with no back up camera. First went online to find one to install. Even on the website for Best Buy, it was not clear what I would need to buy to make this work in my car and what the differences were between the items available. So I went into the Best Buy store where I could see things on display, see them in operation and have a salesman help me understand what I needed to know. There was no functioning display and no sales person who knew anything about the products, other than what we read together online while standing in the store. I finally asked to talk to the actual installer, who was nice enough to come in from the shop to talk to me. He was helpful enough that I became comfortable that this could be done on my car, but I still wanted to be able to see touch and understand what I was going to end up with. A friend recommended Audio Express. I went to the Paradise Valley Mall location and met Cody on the sales floor. He showed me and explained so much about the options, the possible compatibility issues with my car and the possible costs, that I felt like I was suddenly qualified to be a salesman myself. I felt so comfortable with my new understanding and with the knowledge Cody displayed that I casually started mentioning and asking questions about other things I would like to add to the car eventually. Without the slightest hint of a hard sell, Cody gave me a remarkably thorough explanation of the pros and cons of different combinations of components and which ones would make sense from a cost perspective. He explained possible issues that might arise during installation. He did research as to specific questions that I had. Between being busy at work and trying to get this done for my wife’s birthday, I had some timing issues. They were great at making sure everything was done when I needed it. They even helped keep it a surprise by pretending to text me from the brake shop where she thought her car was being serviced when they sent me progress reports. I am normally hesitant to make any significant purchase without first comparing recommendations and prices from several sellers and researching everything myself separately. Here, I was completely comfortable going ahead immediately with everything I thought I might someday want for the car. Not only did we get a good back up camera with the features and quality we wanted, it was integrated into an up-to-date stereo with a good size viewing screen and we also ended up with a built-in Bluetooth system for phone and music, Apple CarPlay, which gives us navigation and other apps through the same screen, and Sirius x/m radio. All the equipment and jacks were incorporated to look like they were factory installed. We now have a car that feels six years newer than it is, with multiple hands-free functions. And finally, not something I would normally comment on. It was hard not to notice how much attention they put into keeping the store, the waiting area and the restroom...

I purchased a radio from the cactus audio express and had them install it. When I arrived to pick up my car I was not given any information on any issues they may have come across. But when I got into my car the first thing I noticed is that my air conditioning display no longer worked. The A/C was blowing but I had no way to know what mode it was on (defrost, dash vents, or floor) and I had no way to know what the blower setting was on. They didn't find it necessary to tell me that this was no longer working as if I would be okay with that. So then they tell me that those controls don't work without the factory radio installed in the car. Which obviously is not true and I was not okay with that. Call me weird but I need my car to function properly. So with some additional research we found that there is an extra harness that you can purchase that will allow the A/C controls to work with an after market stereo. So I agree to pay them more money to fix and they ordered the part. I leave the store and find that there are more issues. The stereo I purchased had a face that flips down to allow you to insert a CD or DVD but the face would not flip down. So I was not able to remove the face (for security) or put any dvd's or cd's in. Next thing I noticed is that as soon as I turn the radio on there is a loud humming sound coming from my sub woofer all the time. Very annoying! So when the part comes in I make an appointment to get my car back up there, and when the day arrives I drop the car off and tell them the other issues I was having, they say they will take care of those issues and call me when its ready to pick up. In a couple of hours they call but instead of telling me the car is ready they tell me that it still will not work unless I buy an additional harness which would be another $70. At this point I have spent over $1000 for a stereo that was $699. I was not happy about the new charge but I need everything to work so I told them to go ahead and fix it. Less than an hour later they call back again, this time they tell me that the steering wheel controls are not working that the I will need a different steering wheel control module. The module they originally installed was working just fine, but now all of a sudden its not working any more. So for this they want another $80! How could I possibly not be pissed off by this point and I told them I don't want to pay any more money and that I just want a refund for the stereo. They tell me that they do not do refunds and that there was nothing I could do but pay them the money. So again I turned around and took it in the a$$. After getting the car back this last time, my dash it all scratched and beat up, the faceplate looks all bent and messed up. I get multiple messages on the stereo screen saying the parking brake is wired incorrectly and another message about the speed sensor not wired correctly. I will never ever do business with this audio...

First I would like to start out by thanking Andrew (Manager) and his crew for doing such an amazing job on such short notice. I just recently purchased a 2015 Hyundai Sonata and the first thing to go out on me was the stock speakers, which occurred earlier on the same day. I contacted Audio Express in paradise valley specifically because I was referred to see Andrew by a friend of mine who had gotten work done on her car as well. I live in east Mesa, which there's an Audio Express less than 5 minutes away from my house. I was skeptical about what the benefit was in driving an hour out of the way to go to his store as opposed to the one next to my house. But I will say it was absolutely worth the drive, Andrew was professional and knowledgeable. Any questions I threw at him, he was gladly willing to explain which made my experience much more enjoyable. Although I had no intention of spending as much money as I did, I'm glad I did. Because everything he recommended sounds amazing! Truly and sincerely the best sounding car stereo I've heard/had. And with less than 4 hours until they closed their shop. They committed to getting my entire sound system installed and without a hitch delivered. 6 speakers, a 5 channel amplifier, bass, and completely tuned. Unbelievably amazing and efficient crew. I will be continuing my business with them in the future regardless if they're an hour away or two. The customer service was second to none and while I was being helped I felt like I was the only customer in the store (even though it was Black Friday). And to say that I'm impressed is an understatement, whomever runs Audio Express should give that man a raise or try to hire a dozen more people like him. Thank you Andrew and your crew for all your hard work and I will be sending everyone I know to your store for all their car...
