They appear to have overpriced most of the products, and a-lot of their hair. I’ve noticed about a 25% price increase & mark ups on some of there products that they sell at their store in comparison to other competitors stores & retailers. Their selection is quite large but still not a great selection in my opinion to choose from( like as if you would have to choose between which isn’t the worst).
They once attempted to try to sell me synthetic fiber & human blended hair “passing it off” as 100% remy virgin raw hair, and when I pointed out the obvious and distinguishing differences since Ive made many purchases of that specific hair at other suppliers before, I am very familiar with the characteristics of how the hair should be prior to purchasing. The staff appeared impressed then began questioning HOW I knew so much about hair,Then proceeded to offer and ask if I’d like to work for THEM! I was offended, because if I weren’t knowledgeable on the product(s) that I wanted to purchase, the staff would have continued to lie to me before I stopped her & she would have taken full advantage of it since what I asked for was very expensive & what she presented was significantly cheap ( low cost) and easy to “pass off” if you didn’t know the difference .In my opinion, most women who wear extensions have common knowledge on the quality of hair that they are investing in and see when they are being bam boosled . It’s really sad, disappointing and disturbing considering that the vast majority of their products are targeted and geared towards customers who are mainly minorities. And Being a bi-racial person of color myself, I personally try to avoid going to businesses that may tend to regularly conduct in unfair business practices towards our black community. Sometimes businesses similar to this one, make us feel like we are forced to except their less than standard and unfair business practices because we are presented with limited options, so if you have the opportunity to order familiar products online, or visit other beauty supply locations that appreciate your business,I definitely recommend conducting your business there and not at places like this one in particular.
There is an excellent black owned beauty supply named “Get Sassy” here in Arizona and phenomenal at getting their customers the best quality products and have supreme customer appreciation, “Get Sassy” treats their customers like family and they even have member rewards to show much they care for their customers,Im sure if you shop with “Get Sassy” you won’t be...
Read moreIt's okay. Customer service could be better and all hair products whether opened or not are final sale, so make sure what you're getting you know is what you want. Their knowledge on black products is minimal I'd make sure to keep a smart phone handy. Location is convenient and prices are decent. It's cool that they have a variety of things here from cosmetics, hair products, clothes, etc. The only part that really gets me and I wish they would fix is the no bathroom thing they have going on. You'd think if someone spend around 30+ minutes in a store spending over $100 there would be a restroom for customer use, other than that it is one of the better beauty supplies with a good variety of synthetic wigs. Human hair wigs are of okay quality and quite expensive for what you're getting, then again that might just be the display. Personally I'd recommend shopping at a black owned beauty supply if you're looking for human hair wigs that actually look human, but as mentioned before, their synthetic wigs are of good quality can last you up to a month if taken care of correctly. They offer closure part, lace front, frontal, and frontal closures. Although they also offer free parting synthetic wigs I'd recommend going to United Beauty Supply on Dunlap for a free part synthetic wigs, of...
Read moreIf I could give them FIVE zeros, I would. My daughter and I went in the store last evening and made a $78+ purchase of hair and product. A few of them were sale items. I did not realize that the product could not be exchanged once purchased. THAT WAS NOT listed on the receipt. When I took the hair out of the bag, I realized it was hair on the weft instead of loose hair. I called back up there not even 24 hours later to see if I could return the hair. There was a young lady who answered the phone and said that she needed to consult with her manager. A man got on the phone and was very RUDE. He asked me to explain what I was trying to do. When I explained it to him, he said if it's a sale item, it can't be exchanged, OKAY? The lady didn't tell me that. She asked other questions. Was I interrupting you or what? There is nothing wrong with the hair. I only wanted to exchange it for loose hair. I understand that you may have other people who bring back bad hair or whatever, but I am not that person. Don't ask me the situation and try to get indignant with me when I tell you what's what. I WON'T be coming back there at ALL. There are many other places to go who have much better customer service and...
