After 12 hours of no food in prep for a tooth extraction, and an unsuccessful one at that, I drifted over to this area to get some hair products nearby. FiGaMi Asian had their grand opening the same week with a 30% discount and I decided to try it after my trip.
Upon entering, I was greeted by a friendly young lady and I checked out the menu. I wanted something soft , though soup was out of the question. Fried rice sounded good (flavor wise), so I asked them if they could replace the rice with something soft like noodles. I explained my situation and they were quick to meet my request. My order was completed in about 8 minutes and let me tell you, this is food is the best Asian food I have had in Arizona!
It was packed with the flavor of fried rice, vegetables, and loaded with beef, chicken, pork, and I think steak. It had a perfect tinge of spice and I was so glad that it was soft enough to check a because my mouth was hurting a lot.
That day I also tried a jalapeno popper and thinking it was like the ones from Walmart and Popeyes I took a nice big bite. 😱😱😱😱 I never had anything that hot in my life and took about 15 minutes to recover with tears and all! I proceeded to eat the inside parts without touching the jalapeno.
For take home I ordered two beef patties to compare it to my favorite Jamaican beef patties, and Mexican beef empanada. It was delish and very flaky and melt in your mouth upon the taste test. I end up over indulging that day.😁😁😁
I have been back two more times since, and ordered my now favorite dish and the experience is the same. Friendly staff, clean place, quick service, and delicious food. On my 2nd trip, which was 2 months later, I was surprised that the cook and the cashier remembered my order! On the third trip I tried their pot stickers and it is as the food I so rave about; Those portstickers were divine! I also went later in the evening on that trip and noticed it was actually a little crowded and on all 3 visits traffic was steady for pick ups. That says a lot about their food indeed!
I encourage everyone to try this place if you are seeking genuine Asian dishes. It is worth the money that...
Read moreAt the end of the night I was hungry and lazy and didn't want to go and pick up food so I had some food delivered from here.
I was hurrying because they were close to closing. I ordered the pad thai with shrimp and the seafood ramen.
The nice thing was they did not put everything in the ramen it was separate for me to add. I decided to take a sip of the broth before adding anything to it. Although the seafood was in with an egg. I took a sip and could not believe how awesome that broth tasted. I've tasted seafood broth before and all you could taste was the seafood there was no burst of flavor with it. This broth was so good I kept drinking it and almost finished it before adding everything else. LOL.
The pad thai had some spice to it was very tasty the shrimp was very good and there was a lot of it. I definitely want to go into this place and try some of...
Read moreStopped here for dinner on a whim because it was on the way home from a friend's house. I was absolutely blown away by how good the good was! The guys working the kitchen were very friendly, and the food came out lightning fast. I got pork tonkatsu ramen, my girlfriend got the pork spicy shoyu ramen, and we split an order of fried dumplings. Man, let me tell you, the chashu here is the best I've had anywhere in the valley!! Very very flavorful, very tender, with a perfect char on the outside. At a lot of other places, the pork tastes like it was reheated in the microwave, but that is not the case here! You can tell it's made with love by people who care about making good food. Both styles of broth were also super tasty, right down to the last drop. I will definitely be back here next time I have a craving for good ramen! If I could give this place 10...
