A Decades-Long Love Affair with Herbal Nails & Spa of Arcadia - Simply the Best! As a loyal patron for what feels like forever, I can confidently say that Herbal Nails & Spa of Arcadia is my absolute go-to for all things pampering, and it consistently delivers a five-star experience! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in a truly glamorous interior that sets the perfect tone for relaxation and indulgence. One of the things I appreciate most is their commitment to efficiency without sacrificing quality. They typically have a fantastic team of skilled nail techs on hand, which means you're rarely left waiting, even during peak times. This allows for a seamless and enjoyable visit every time. A huge, heartfelt shout-out must go to the main lady manager – she is simply awesome! Her warmth, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly remarkable and a significant part of why I've remained such a devoted client over the years. She sets the standard for the entire salon. Beyond the stunning ambiance and efficient service, it's the consistent quality of their work that keeps me coming back. My nails always look fantastic, whether it's a simple mani-pedi or a more intricate design. And let's be honest, the complimentary mimosa is the perfect cherry on top of an already perfect experience! Herbal Nails & Spa of Arcadia isn't just a nail salon; it's a sanctuary where I can unwind, be pampered, and leave feeling refreshed and beautiful. If you're looking for a top-tier nail experience in Arcadia, look no further. This place is a gem!

I visited on August 22nd for a pedicure and a gel manicure. The pedicure was good and is holding up over 24 hours later. However, during my manicure, the technician cut off a chunk from my thumb (see photos). I wasn’t planning to complain or post a review based on just that, the technician was apologetic, but after five hours of wear the gel was bubbling and chipped. I called to ask them to fix it. They agreed. I returned the next day and they said they would fix it *if* I rewrote my review. I agreed and this is the updated post. They said the bubbling and chipping was because of the color and brand I chose, so I had to change the color. They said since I could remove my bandaid my cut couldn’t be “that bad”. They also scolded me for not bringing up the issue during the service the day prior. I reiterated, I didn’t plan to complain about the cut. It was the bubbling and chipping that pushed me to change my mind. For $76 + tip I should walk away with a decent pedicure and manicure (originally $85, they gave me a discount for being a new customer but not for cutting me). I would never return to this spot, and I suggested others traveling with me to go elsewhere. Keeping original photos for reference.

1 star does not do this justice. I came in here and was lucky enough to be able to walk in. Shown is the nails I asked for. The tech said okay (implying he could do them?). Throughout the whole process he never allowed me to visually see the work/my nails including shaping and design. The lady up front even walked by and laughed and he shrugged his shoulders. As you can see in the picture the manicure was bubbly & nothing similar to requested. When checking out, the card system happened to be down. Then, the ATM was also down. The lady up front asked me to pay Zelle (which is very unprofessional for a business). When I said I didn’t have Zelle, she told me I would have to walk to a local bank to pay them. Paid $70 just to get them removed.

I have been going to Herbal Nails and Spa, Arcadia since they’ve opened in 2018. I always had great service and great techs. I understand Covid has affected every single one of us, more so the impact on businesses and employee retention causing employee shortages everywhere. However , if you’re going to continue run a business and provide services I would hope your quality would still be the same as I have always received before. That’s not the case with this place. Over the last year it has gone down on quality of techs, front desk employees, and quality of service all around has declined tremendously. I have continued to give them the benefit of the doubt and going back trying out a new tech every time I go which is already frustrating but in hopes to find someone I actually like and I just can’t find it anymore there. The service and experience there is just no longer what I enjoy when wanting to have a pampering day to myself. Numerous times I have walked out unsatisfied with my services. The front desk girl was upset because I called and needed a fix on a couple nails that they had did that day, and out of her frustration, she hung up on me. A tech was on her cell phone the entire time she was providing services and even cut me while doing so. I can go on and on about a salon I once loved and was loyal too but after my last appointment and experience, I will no longer be returning to Herbals Nails and Spa, Arcadia.. it’s time to find a new place and start over. So...

This is the last time I will visit this facility. It’s clean; I’ll give them that. I spend $100 a visit for an SNS manicure and “organic” pedicure that is supposed to include cooling masks, your choice of scrubs/treatments and hot stones. Not once have I received a cooling mask, been asked which treatment I would like or hot stones but I pay the $43 for it. I asked the technician to sculpt my nails a specific way. She rushed through and did not do as I asked. I had the ask the technician to file my nails so they were straight across. They were hardly buffed so you can see the orange peel effect of the SNS powder on my nails and the edges are rough. She didn’t remove all of the old power so I’m picking off pieces of old powder myself. I had to ask the technician to clean underneath my nails which she rolled her eyes at after I asked and explained the reasoning. I also have polish on my skin that I’ll have to get off later. They offer complimentary beverages but I wasn’t offered a beverage until I was 3 minutes away from my services being finished. They have signs all over the salon requesting cash payment so they can afford their credit card fees which I find to be completely unprofessional. It wasn’t this way when they first opened. They took their time and cared about the client experience and $100 felt like a good deal. Now, it feels...
