Do not book your party here! The âsnackâ plan is cool but $30-40 a child is crazy and you canât bring a cake either to sing happy birthday. So youâre almost forced to get the âmeal planâ $40-50 each child that includes cake and pizza. BUT LAVEEN LOCATION doesnât have vendors even after being open over 4 months. So you can bring your own, but they only discount the cost by 6.00 a child! So $33-44 a child just to bring my own cake and food that you still have to purchase yourself is pure greed. Siblings want to come? Invited or not they are full price of a party guest! Want to pay $20-25 for general admission? The guests were told by the manager Aaliyah if they Go that route and they were caught going near the birthday party let alone eating a piece of pizza that the host purchased/provided themselves not kids empire That they would be thrown out and money would not be returned! So that three year-old sibling that wants to sing happy birthday with the other kids, but came along just a place since the parents were going anyway Yeah, the manager basically said she would take the pizza out of the childâs hands and they would be âthrown outâ. If they did not comply, the police would be called.
Only 1 adult included and the extra parent is (10-15) just to get in no matter what. Sorry grandma you have to pay to sit there and watch your grandkids play. Goodie bags suck worse than dollar store items. Balloons included? Nope, didnât get those either! With a 10 kid minimum our party went up hundreds of dollars quickly. Even the parents that still paid for themselves and Their other kids just because they wanted to have them try the place out too They were still put on our guest list To count against our 10 minimum! Not to mention there is only a 2 to 3 infant Limit. So family with babies. Three babies Attend your party no matter how many people are going. Because we did go over the prepaid 10 minimum after we got done, singing, happy birthday before we even handed cupcakes out the manager that we go to and pay the balance! Even after being told if we go over our 10 minimum that we can pay at the very end of the party.
This is only a fraction of what we went through. But another fun fact to consider before booking with them Even if the place is empty and itâs your three hour mark We were forced to clean up all of our decorations and bring all the gifts and everything in the HOT car. Keep in mind the other birthday party didnât have to move. We were stuck in the corner like the stepchildren and they got the center tables of the whole building. We were literally already cleaning up and taking decorations down, and the manager made sure to let us know. We still had to get everything in the car, but not the other party.
It was fun.. Iâve never been so embarrassed in my life. The 21 year old manager Itâs so rude and honestly need to be demoted if not fired immediately before she causes them a real lawsuit. All the other employees were absolutely amazing and only kept apologizing for the experience we were having because of the one Manager. Please donât be like me have your hopes that this new party place would be fun and stress-free and easy I literally didnât even get to sing happy birthday to my daughter. I didnât get any pictures. I was crying almost the whole time because of how rude she was to me and my guests.
I was asked to speak with the district manager or her boss basically and I was told to contact support. I contacted Support several times. I still have yet to get a response and itâs been over a month. My heart was broken. I spent so much money to make sure this was a birthday party. My daughter would never forget. I am the sweetest person you will ever meet. I donât ever have an attitude and Iâm just not uptight. Iâm very easy-going and my daughterâs first birthday party will probably be her last after this experience. đđđđđ
And I didnât even get my One time return card for The birthday girl either. Very sad that a place was so much potential could be ruined by one awful person that has no...
Read moreSince Kids Empire is the same set up as Uptown Jungle we brought our grippy socks but ended up having to buy regular socks from them because they do not let you wear grip socks. They have socks âpermanently gluedâ to the wall for display with numbers under them. I asked if those numbers were the size for shoes so I would know which size to purchase and the staff had no idea. So since my twins wear a size â1 Kidsâ I purchased the size â3-5â to make sure they would fit but as soon as I opened them and held them up to my kids foot I could tell that they were way to small. Staff immediately let me know that âunfortunately since you OPNENED the bag (by opened she meant flipped up the resealable sticky side of the plastic and removed the sock) that they would not be able to exchange them and I had to purchase yet another pair of NEW socks from them. Again, they never even touched my childâs foot. Had the staff been knowledgeable about the sizing of their display socks and the numbers, which I have no idea what they stand for since we ended up getting the size â6-8â for my 4 year old who wears size kids 1, or had they had a sample that I could have simply been able to look at that was not all the way behind the counter glued to the wall, I would have purchased the correct sizing of socks and wouldnât be stuck with brand new and unusable socks from them.
Itâs $19 for just one child and with most people brining grip socks and having to purchase their socks (likely two pairs since their sizing is way off) plan to spend $25 per kid.
Once you pay to get inside you will have to purchase a card from them to load up additional money to use the ride on toys and play games. So thatâs another $10 per child if your kid wants to ride on the motor toys. So with my 2 hour morning outting with my twin pre-schoolers we spent $80 to play at essentially an âUptown Jungle but smaller version and no trampolinesâ.
We have a membership to Uptown Jungle and pay around $200 per kid for the year. kids Empire does not have any sort of membership or packages so for going 5xs in a year is equivalent to going 365xs at Uptown Jungle. It would be nice if they had a membership or package option because I do not know how they expect repeat buisness with Skyzone and Uptown being right next door and far better pricing. 2 features that were new that my kids enjoyed that Uptown does not have is a small soccer/turf area to play in whereas Uptown has a basketball court. They also have a small room with music playing in and black lights for the kids to dance to.
I would love to go back again since there literally was no one else there when we went so it was nice to have the whole place to ourselves and all the equipment is so new but at the pricing per kid and all the additional things you have to pay for once you go inside it doesnât surprise me that they do not have repeat buisness.
It will be something I may take my kids to one more time but for a few hours and the size of the play area, itâs...
Read moreProbably the worst location of the Kids Empire business in AZ. The people working at the place have absolutely no idea how to treat anyone with respect, they are somehow there because they have to be, they lack common sense, respect, courtesy and even understanding. My mom who is an older lady was sitting in the waiting area waiting for me to pay for my daughter after completing the waiver for us and the big heavy set Hispanic girl wearing a pink Tshirt (donât have another way of describing her) in the register would not even let me pay the fee of like around $22 dollars for my daughter to go in because my mom was slow in taking her shoes off to put them in some bin. Like really? She was sitting there, NOT WALKING IN you idiot Lol! Sheâs old and disabled it takes her a lot longer than a younger person to do that! So anyway after forcing my mom to hurry up and take off her shoes so I can pay and we can finally go in we were there for a few minutes and noticed that for it being a Saturday it was almost emptyâŚâŚ. Well gee- NO WONDER with that type of customer service in the beginning who would want to stay and pay? The other place across the street called Uptown Jungle is ALWAYS super busy on Saturdays because of their great customer service and lower prices so we will continue to be going to that place instead. Also, the other employee who also looks to be Hispanic or Native American, with straight hair and a black shirt went and rudely told our child to get out of the play zone for the little ones because she was not in diapers but literally never once went over there when there was a few older kids who were a lot older than my child running around in that zone a bit earlier. She is Another reason why we will definitely NOT be back at this location..âŚwe were planning on having a birthday there for our daughter soon but with this type woman being employed there talking to little kids that rude way we will not be paying hundreds of dollars for a birthday party there.- sadly for the owners it is Kinda hard to stay in business when the employees, are there to just get a paycheck and nothing else.. I hope they realize how it will affect their business . FYI: My family has been to the other Kids Empire locations and the customer service there...
