This place has gone downhill. Not too sure if it’s a new owner but very disappointing with just how the foods are presented on the buffet let alone the flavors. This place was a plus 2 years ago but started noticing the changes regarding how the foods were tasting & as well as how long it was sitting on the buffet line. Not fresh to the point that when you put it in your mouth it’s hard, dry & mushy. Trays are literally almost empty(dried foods) turning brown. Mind you, we came in on on a Sunday at 7ish & the middle buffet line was old foods with several trays wthat was empty. It was my first plate with 4pcs salt & peppered shrimp, the white noodles(mushy)& 2pcs of the fried blue crabs because it’s what I had to scavenge because barely anything was on the trays. Then I sent my daughter to see if they put fresh cooked foods out but they didn’t. I decided to get on my second plate & I just had to ask one of the staff if they are going to bring out freshly cooked white noodles & etc. Well, I appreciated the fact that they did bring out what was asked for but I think now it’s time to find another buffet but then again, they’re all the same to be honest! We finally did find this place 2 yrs ago but I don’t think our business will be coming back… Quality has gone downhill...
Read moreDid the place change owners or something? Lots of these reviews just don’t represent what we had. The floors are literally peeling up. (One lady tripped and almost fell because the Flooring is curling up from being wet and not sealed) The place smells like moldy mop water. The food is just, I can’t describe it, it’s like someone saw pictures of Chinese food but had to shop at a dollar store for the ingredients. The Chinese noodles were basically spaghetti noodles with salt and orange food coloring. Same with the “fried rice” do they not know how to make these Chinese food staples? Basically just orange colored salty rice. Orange?? So crazy. The chicken on a stick was really good though. Same with the Chinese donuts. But so many of the dishes were just terrible. The most egregious offense was the sweet and sour sauce. Why does it taste like ketchup!?!? How do you mess up sweet and sour sauce!? Did they seriously mix the sweet and sour with ketchup to save money or something? So confusing.
This place is just sad, run down, and ratchet. We really went to this place with very low expectations and still were horribly disappointed.
I hate leaving reviews like this, normally I don’t because I know how hard it is to keep a business but something is actually wrong...
Read moreThis is the third time I've eaten at this place since it transitioned from the Jumbo Buffet. The first time the food was not very good. Items which were supposed to be hot were not and tasted below quality. The first visit was shortly after the re-opening so I figured they were trying to adjust their operation and gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second visit was about a month later and there was a very slight improvement but still the food tasted substandard. Hoping the third time would be a charm, I gave it another shot.. This time, unfortunately, was no better than the first visit. To add insult to injury, I tried the ice cream cups for the first time. As I was eating my first spoonful, I was reading the ice cream cup label. This item had more preservatives than natural ingredients, and was identified as having been made with genetically altered ingredients. At that time, I decided my first spoonful was my last. So after three attempts, I'm sorry to say I struck out with this place. I seriously doubt I'll see return for another at-bat in the...
