This place is never on point. #1 way too much garlic to be considered a seafood boil, more like a garlic boil, #2 inconsistencies on food items included with order, they never have all of what is being advertised. #3 the Asian man that answers the phone at the 35th Ave location is always so rude. I have eaten here at least a good 6 times. At least 2 out of 6, the order was correct, the other 4 times, it's always missing something, or they ran out of something, or they forgot to include something, this varies from pick up, to delivery both doordash and grubhub. Pier 88 is there running competition in this area, even thought they are located in Avondale, but..... the quality of the food is much better, the consistency of the menu items are always on point. If they make a mistake they are more than happy to Rectify the situation. We'll after a rude encounter over the phone with a very hostile ride man over 1 corn, 1 potatoe, and 1 sasuage not being included in the last pick up order, why did they ask to take my name down just to deny and not want to replace missing items that were already paid for previous. Obviously, they are in it for the corn, potatoe, andsausage. But the over cooked shrimp, crawfish, and unknown type of clams and mussels your more than welcome to pay for so they can rip you off! My name is Rachael, my husband and I ordered claims on 11/02/2022 when we got home are begin eating there were several small sharp shards of claim in my mouth on almost every bite. Not only did I almost chip my tooth I was worried to continue eating for my safety. I called to make the restaurant aware and exchange for another item or refund. I spoke directly to the OWNER who shouted at me “No Refunds” then hung up in my face. I called back because I was so taken aback. He shouted and cursed at me again. At this point it was no longer about $15.00 I advised him the food was unsafe and I will be contacting the Heath Department. His response was “go ahead” then, hung up again.The shards of glass like substance was very concerning please be aware when eating. We could have been hurt and he had no concern for us nor anyone else ordering from that batch of claims with sharp like glass that you cannot see only feel...
