9/12/2023- Update- They hire racists on purpose. Ponytail security guard felt the need to follow me all around the store while the real thieves that look like him walk out of the store. I honor the Lord, I don't steal, work hard for a financial institution and honest individual. But ponytail will never know because he has his mind set. And he is rude too. I ignore him completely for that reason. If it were not for the prices, I'd never come to this Ross. Fancier ones have excellent guards who do their jobs but know how to be fair and treat all the same.
December 2021 I had developed a dislike at this store for previous racist behavior from the security staff, but this last time around I noted another set of staff that was more pleasant and more welcoming. I made two or three trips between here and Walmart over a period of a few days trying to find a particular pajama set.
Staff was plenty and working hard but the shoppers were really something else. They showed no respect for the store and the isle had stuff spread across it and clothes were off the hangers and on the floor everywhere!
I know it was the holiday time, but there is no way people should treat a business that way. I do not even want to imagine what their homes look like.
The staff was overworked and overwhelmed, as plenty as they were , and honestly the customers did not help.
It was nice to find a few other clothing items for less, and like Ross does have, those snacks on sale that you do not find any where else.
I give the staff 100% for putting their best efforts in and also the friendly security people. I am also glad that they are one of the few big businesses that was loaded with cashiers. Lines were long but it most quite fast. Good job in improving Ross. I hope your...
Read moreI usually have a easy time in this store. The employees are helpful, they always stock up there store, and it's pretty clean for being connected to christown. I was looking at the jewelry I pressed the button for customer service. It was a little busy waited about 20 minutes and ask the same lady 3times for assistance. To later finding out she is the assistant manager Adina. I picked out one item that I said I would buy. Then went through the store to look around. I didn't find anything else but I remembered that there was two more watches that I wanted to grab before I left on top of the one I already picked. I went back over there hit the button and a nice gentleman came to help me. As I was looking for the two other watches the assistant manager comes back up and rudely says (didn't I already help you). I nicely responded with there was two more items I wanted to grab. She rudely answered back again with (couldn't you have grabbed them beforehand). I just said I wasn't sure if I was going to grab them but now I'd like to. She then storms out telling her employee to hurry up rudely. Look I understand it's Christmas time and a lot of stores are busy but it wasn't that bad in there and not ever shouldn't assistant manager or store manager be getting rude with a customer ever. Where is the professionalism? Here's the proof to show I'm not making this up here's my family's...
Read moreFirst off, they treat you like a thief when you want to try on clothes, the customer can't count the items they want to try on, and tell the person manning the dressing rooms, you have to hang them up on their little rack and THEY count them. Second, you can't take the shopping cart outside, making it extremely difficult to get heavy, bulky, or just many items to your car. I asked if they had one cart without a pole (that's what keeps it inside) I could use and bring right back. Nope, is what I was told. I had 3 big bags, an area rug, a set of dishes and an over the door towel rack. After 3 trips out to my truck, I was hot and tired and more than a little ticked off. Well, in my haste I forgot the towel rack that was hooked on the handle of the cart. The final straw was when I realized I didn't have it and went back, receipt in hand, explained exactly how and why it was left behind, I was told too bad by the security person at the front of the store. There's No special place for items forgotten, there was No offer to compare the actual quantity on hand to what the computer showed, which is what I have and I do where I work, people leave stuff, it happens. I said, so I have to pay for it again because you guys won't let a shopping cart go outside, she said yup. I said I'll never shop here again, she just shrugged her shoulders like:...
