Chipley Chicken — Restaurant in Pine Mountain

The food is always decent, or it can even be pretty great depending on who is working the day of your order. Which is pushing me towards the details I am about to get into and why I give this place of business an overall 2.0 stars. Regardless of if the food is mostly good, the employees which run this restaurant almost always have a subtle attitude when you call or go inside to order, as if they could care less about keeping any one of their customers happy and just want to go home. They respond extremely unprofessionally to most any request that you ask of them and like to dance in the kitchen twerking and acting absurd while there is a line of people inside and even a line at the drive through window as well. To add to this behavior, almost every single time I (as well as many others I know) have ordered through a call in, someone will forget to put something you paid for in the bag. Almost as if it has become a sick scheme to see who won't come back to get whichever said item was forgotten... As I have stated before I mostly enjoy the food, but every time I am to go there something these extremely unprofessional employees do or say (or even both) essentially runs me off as a customer. If attitudes don't bother you, and if you are looking for somewhat fast food that is decent and looking to have something possibly forgotten when you order every time then this is the place for you. However, if you are looking for a nice fast-food place to order from with clean and professional staff that care about the food they are serving along with their customers, this restaurant is NOT FOR YOU!...

P.S. I would like to add that they haven't updated their website in over 3-4 years so if you are trying to see their menu or even simply menu prices, NOTHING will be an accurate representation of what they are actually pricing...

To be fair, we have had perfectly fine experiences in the past, but not today. Waited about 25 minutes for our to-go order for 6 people. Got our food and got home and realized all was there except a cheeseburger meal. Returned to the restaurant with the receipt to show that we paid for the meal. Everyone else started eating. Showed receipt and told them about missing cheeseburger meal. Overheard an escalated discussion in kitchen stating that she KNEW she put the burger in there and it wasn't her fault. At the same time, another employee actually asked me to bring ALL of the food back! So she wanted me to go BACK home, gather everyone else's food from their mouths and bring it back? Were yall planning to remake the entire order after all that?! I actually called my wife and told them that. Everyone at home thought I was joking. I then asked them to just send a picture of everyone's food and the invisible burger lol. Nobody at the restaurant wanted to see the picture that was sent all of a sudden. Waited another 15 minutes for my cheeseburger. Burger served with nothing but meat and cheese(not what i asked for). I just left at that point. Absolutely phenomenal experience at Chipley Chicken! From the moment we walked in, the staff greeted us with warm smiles and genuinely friendly service that made us feel right at home. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do.

Now let’s talk about the food — wow. Every single item we tried was delicious and full of flavor. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and fried to golden perfection, flaky on the inside and crispy on the outside. The cheeseburger was juicy and satisfying, with that classic, comforting taste you hope for in a hometown burger. The chicken sandwich was tender and flavorful, with just the right amount of crunch. And the scramble dog? A Pine Mountain classic — messy in the best way, loaded with chili, slaw, and goodness in every bite.
