I have to say that I have had the worst experience from this company I am appalled at the customer service but not from the store its self the agent Luis was great and really tried to help me but its given the right tools to do his job properly. For started I hope this never happens to anyone else and this is why I need to write this review. I have an illness called ankylosing spondylitis which is a Severe spine issue which brings me to purchase this bed from the sleep number in order to get some type of relief with their number setting so of course naturally make anyone else I have a budget and I walk into their store and purchase a $6000 bed Which is an investment towards my health so after much debate to get the right amount on the budget for the bed to be offered at the 40 months financing I decide to go with a Queen size bed and of course wait the 2 weeks for the bed to arrive. That's not where the problem lies but as soon as their delivery driver finally arrives he literally walks into my home takes a look at my stairs and says no can do ma'am of course my reaction is what you mean and he tells me that a Queen size bed is a full framed base and will not be able to go up my stairs so when asked what their solution was he mentioned I needed to upgrade to a king size bed as I mentioned previous I was working on a budget so this made no sense to me than I had to pay over a $1000 more for a bed that I did not want because it just didn't fit in my home so when asked if I were to move over to a king size bed which obviously cost more money and I will have to think about what do I need to do the driver suggested he can get me a bed through him but then followed by asking me if I financed the bed then he couldn't help me and the price would be more and he couldn't granteed that I would get it any sooner. Since I mentioned I did it financed he said I had no choice but to call customer services. So he drove off with no worries didnt even bother with taking it off the truck or attempting to put the bed up the stairs when I told him I have been sleeping in the floor for two weeks waiting. So now I call customer service and now I'm upset and I explain to the agent that this is not fair how do they just show up to my door and leave me no choice but to have to pay more and they dont even guarentee that I will get my bed sooner. For the inconvenience they have caused me they should at least offer me a discount to upgrade to a cost I wasnt expecting to have plus just took out a credit card for this bed. He said they couldn't offer me anything and I would have to pay the 1000.00 difference up front if I choose to get the king size. I naturally said well that's not happening so cancel my order to which without hesitation did right away. When I asked him if I speak to another rep. can they help me with a solution he said I can try but they won't help me an then I asked what about my promotion for 48 months will that now change he said no worries they will honor the promotion that was a...
Read moreThis is the worst sleep I’ve ever had. We both have back and shoulder issues so we were looking to invest in a good mattress. This mattress has done the opposite, it has actually magnified and made our pain worse. It feels like we’re sleeping on an over glorified air mattress.
BUYER BEWARE They do not take the $5,000 base back. What are you supposed to do with a base that is specific to the Sleep Number split mattress. We spent $11,000 on their top of the line bed because of their 100 night In-Home Trial Period and at no point did anyone say the base was non refundable.
We called to begin processing the return after a week of using it. They told us we were not able to process any returns until using the mattress for at least 30 days. After an hour on the phone with them they recommended we use a layer of memory foam on the mattress and scheduled their drivers to bring it over but it still has not made a difference.
So now they’re going to torture us for two more weeks and in top that make us eat the $5,000 base and whatever return fees they’re going to bill is.
It may just not be the mattress for us and work for others. My advice, save your money and read the fine print, it’s not worth the risk. The 100 night In-Home Trial Period is very misleading, it is not really a...
