This grocery store is offering a wide variety of European foods (mostly Polish). The quality is exceptional, as is the variety of unusual foods. There were so many items that you cannot find in an American chain grocery store. More importantly, these foods are produced with much higher standards than American mass produced chemical and additive filled food. I was really surprised at how good the desserts looked, as well as the cold cuts in their deli. The frozen section had a number of different meats, desserts and other visually desirable foods. The middle of the store is loaded with everything from bottles of Ukranian Borscht soup to canned grapeleaves. In all, I was happily surprised and recommend you consider supporting this business and form your...
Read moreMy Mom was expecting a bigger selection of German items because it's a "European" market. It should just be called a Polish market. My nephew very politely asked the lady at the front if he could use the restroom. Right away she said no without any manners. She then continued to watch and profile my nephew while he walked around the store. A couple of times I looked over at her and the other lady and they were whispering about him. Very unprofessional and rude. It's unfortunate that y'all racially profile a young black man because of his appearance. How dare you judge him solely based on his looks. We will not be returning to your Polish market. 0 out 10. Would not recommend. I only gave you 1 star because it...
Read moreFirst the good: This place has many selections from Europe. I love that you can get polish and german candy's, pierogies and other things that are usually hard to get in Charlotte. The bad: I buy groceries there occasionally and it happend many times that yogurts and candies were expired for days. Candies even a few weeks. I wouldn't buy there meat or deli, because of this reason. It is a small store and they may try to sell it because it's still good, but the fact that they don't take it off the shelf after expiration, is not a good sign. Edit: I bought pierogis and they tasted kind of weird. I checked the expiration date and they were expired on January 2022. I bought them on October 2022. I won't shop...
