Pancho's Surf Shop — Attraction in Pismo Beach

This is the coolest place we saw on our entire trip to California. Cant say enough about the staff. Everyone was friendly to us and they even served as tour guides to the surrounding area. Thanks for the tips on where to go see some cool beach front.

Totally loved the old skateboard scene in here. It was almost like a museum up on the walls that I could show my kids. Brought back all the youth memories and things I had forgot about. Plus they had all the cool clothing, so of course I walked out with about 20+ shirts hahaha. .

The lower half of California was not a good time for us. Until we stopped in this town, and meet the some people like the folks at Pancho's, I was questioning why anyone even liked California. But they showed us it was pretty cool state and lots of cool stuff to do. They showed us that there are still a lot of Californians that life up to the hype we all hear about.

So I promised the gentleman behind the counter that I would support Pancho's shop on my race car after he hooked me up with a bunch of awesome shirts and some stickers. See attached photo lol. I kept true on my promise and took you guys to the 2023 NASA Championships in Pittsburg this year lolol. We put it on pole and finished third overall in our class. Also had my new Powell Peralta shirt on under my fire suit hahaha. Best picture i had showing your decal on the rear fender.

So ya, if your reading this stop in and check this place out. If you're a Gen X you wont be disappointed. If you are a cool person you wont be disappointed lolol. If this place was a 1000 miles or so closer I would go here every weekend..

okay so i get clothes from this store with my friend, we are 2 girls about 4'10" and 5'. a blonde worker asks us if we needed a dressing room and we said yes. we go into the open dressing room (the others were locked) and try on the clothes. the stuff is really over priced so we were taking our time to make a decision (sending pictures and asking people) stuff like that. about 15 to 20 minutes later a man pounded on our door so loudly and asked us who let us in, not identifying himself as a worker or anything. we said a blonde girl and he said that everyone that worked here said they didnt let us in. he accused us of theft and shoplifting (although we came in with literally our wallets and phone only) and told us that this wasnt a "frat party" and it was weird that we were in there for so long. even when we gave him all the clothes except for the ones we wanted to BUY WITH MONEY he was talking to other people in the store about how we were gonna steal if it werent for him. when we finally get out of the room after changing out of our "stolen" clothes another worker came up to us and said she will take the clothes from us and took the clothes that we were going to buy. so unless you feel like being accused, violated, and paying for over priced clothing then head on down to panchos surf shop! ask for DJ. I was standing there near the register while 2 girls were talking to another customer. That customer walks away. They both look at me and walked away. I’m like okay I’ll go look at some sandals since that is what I am here for. The only place I go to every 3 months for the past year and half. Two other people walk in and goes to the sandals literally 3 feet from me. One of those same cashiers walked over to them and offered help. Even helped them find a sandal they were looking for. They check them out and they leave. I’m still standing there hoping for help. Nothing… not even asked if I needed anything. Wow. What a way to treat a local! I’ll never be back that’s for sure.
