Disappointed with the Customer Service – Not the Same Experience Twice

A few weeks ago, we ordered from Pizmo Cafe and unfortunately received the wrong order. We did not receive the BBQ pizza but received a different pizza in its place. We didn’t notice until we got home because I had called in the order and had someone else pick it up. Mistakes happen, and to their credit, when we called that night, the customer service was great. The woman we spoke with apologized and assured us they would comp our next order to make things right. We gave our names and phone numbers and she assured us she’d put it in the system to be comped next time. We appreciated the prompt and professional handling of the situation at the time and knew we’d be back.

When we called a couple weeks ago – we called to redeem that promised comped order (and another that we were purchasing), and the experience was completely different. I explained the situation on the phone and got a call back from a different manager after hanging up with the hostess. We were met with skepticism and attitude from the manager. We were grilled for over 5 minutes on the phone about the situation with skepticism and confusion, as if we were trying to scam them for a free pizza. It was uncomfortable and frustrating. He proceeded to ask the date of the previous mess up and we had to search our credit card apps resulting in more time on the phone with them to straighten it out. Upon arriving for takeout I asked if everything was okay and if they eventually found our names in the system. The hostess responded yes that the manager eventually found it. No apology was made for the confusion and extra time spent on the phone looking up statements and giving our information/explaining the story multiple times.

Wow! We walked up and down this street full of food options and this was the one my fiance finally settled for. (He's so picky; didn't want burgers and doesn't eat seafood. Lol) I was so glad he did. The picture of pizza posted near the door was what did it. We walked in to a nearly empty place, other than the employees. The waiter let us choose our seats and was very attentive. We order a custom pizza (jalepenos, olives, and pineapple), mozzarella sticks, and a small Ceasar salad for me. omg everything was delicious. The salad was even perfectly seasoned with pepper and tossed, just how I like my Ceasars salads normally. The sticks were huge and crispy. I'm usually picky about pizza sauce because I don't normally care for red sauce, but not today. This brought me back to childhood and was one of the freshest pizzas I've ever had.
