Burlington — Attraction in Pittsburg

We last visited this Burlington a few years ago, before the pandemic. Back then, the store was decent, reasonably well-stocked, and organized. You could usually find some good deals on clothing, shoes, and home goods if you took the time to look around.

However, our recent visit was quite different. The store seemed understocked, with several empty shelves in important sections like shoes, home décor, and men’s clothing. The selection was noticeably thinner compared to other Burlington locations we've been to lately. Some areas looked like they hadn’t been restocked in a while, and there were fewer employees around to help.

On a positive note, the staff we did meet were friendly and accommodating. One associate went out of her way to help us find a specific size, and the checkout was fairly quick, even with only a few registers open. The restrooms were also much cleaner this time, showing a definite improvement.

My partner still managed to find a few items she liked, but overall, the shopping experience felt somewhat disappointing. It’s also worth mentioning that the mall itself has been struggling lately, with many stores closed and noticeably fewer shoppers. This might be affecting the store's inventory and overall vibe.

Last 2 times I've been there to buy comforter set. The set was missing items which you don't realize til you get home and then it's too late. So my advice is, when you go to purchase something like a comforter set....make sure all of it is in the zipped up packaging. It's sad but people will take out of one package and put it in another and purchase that one so that leaves a package that lacks a piece it should have. Karma will get them I hope. But definitely not the security officer they have...

This review is for Burlington Coat Factory in Pitsburg, CA. Had to use the restroom and was told the people that's in charge of the restrooms just left. The lady at the door paged someone to the restrooms n the cashier said they just left. Here's my thing they have to use it, and they let themselves in.
