Had a $10 off coupon for a purchase over $20. I got a couple items to qualify and in the knife case there was several On Sale items and I wanted the camp axe for $15 also. The manager refused to sell the display model and after several minutes waiting at the cash register as she rifled through several boxed display case selections, customers lined up behind me and I told her I'd just come in tomorrow, Wed, and she said OK. Wed I'm up Lonetree and stopped at the Big 5 there. No sale items in the case at all. I asked the young man if there was a sale that ended yesterday(There was no fliers), and he said yes but seemed a little unsure. So the sale ended yesterday and I told the Somerville manager I'd be back the next day and the sale is over? The one star was for Somerville and one star for a not-to-helpful staffer on Lonetree. I was in the store for about 10 minutes maybe less and the gentleman in a blue shirt was following around I made my way to the workout equipment and did 5 sips on the dip station the gentleman in the blue shirt told me very rude and unprofessional not to play on the equipment I asked him his name was Pat the store manager as I turned around he said he would escort me to the exit I asked why and he said he didn't like my attitude I ask for corporate information he gave me a card then I asked him for a pen he said he didn't have one so I waited in the line to get a pen he came back a told me security would have me removed and then he gave me a pen and told me to remember his name "Pat" not good because I there is not another Big 5 close to where I live and I will not come back here if Pat is still working at...

I agree, the staff at this store are the rudest "employees" I ever dealt with. I literally just picked something quick cause the woman was giving off a vibe like I was annoying and wasting her time. Then I got accused of shoplifting by the grotesque he she with the braid simply because I was looking at something then I guess it wasn't there 10 minutes later. So I was forced to pay for it or be "banned" oh my this was ridiculous! So the few days later when i went back to return (which they kept constantly lying that only a store manager could return it. So after two days of lies I finally just went to Concord where that store manager said that wasn't true!) what I bought they told me they found it literally under the display stand. So ridiculous.
