Jamba — Restaurant in Pittsburg

My friend had a $10 gift card and these days you can't buy two large smoothies for $10. Remember when you could (a year ago)? I was hungry and decided to get the JJ version of fruit snacks while I waited for my smoothie. A little bag of fruit snacks were $2.50. Welch's fruit snacks range from .99 cents for their little bag to a little under $3 for a jumbo size. The service at this location was so-so, but I think these smoothies and supplemental items are overpriced. I will continue to get a JJ every now and then because I have never been able to duplicate the taste and quick function of the Cold Buster (substituting bananas with strawberries or raspberries). Whenever I get a Cold Buster at the start of a cold, those smoothies have knocked my cold out (EmergenC does the same thing).

Something worth mentioning, JJ now has a (cardless?) loyalty program.

So id like to begin by saying service was good. I hadn’t been to Jamba Juice in a long time (over a year) but my favorite drink is the apples n greens. I went today for the first time in a while, atmosphere was great however my drink was terrible. I have always ordered the same thing but I think management needs to take a look at their blenders and make sure they are working properly. My drink has kale it in and I was chewing on my drink instead of drinking it like a smoothie. When I got to the bottom after a few hours of chewing on it little by little there were these large balls of fruit. I think this is a poor management issue not an employee one unless they aren’t reporting their issues. Maybe upper management is lacking funding to replace their blenders or something else but I won’t be going back not to mention my drink was $11. I could buy a meal...

The Pittsburg Jamba Juice establishment is my preferred choice. Despite residing near the Brentwood location, their drink preparation needs improvement. Alejandra, in particular, ensures my drink is made to perfection as she knows my preferences. The entire staff is consistently courteous, fostering a welcoming environment for placing an order. I am a regular patron, visiting 2-3 times weekly. I am grateful to Alejandra, Jocelyn, and the entire team for their dedication to creating an excellent protein smoothie. I look forward to...
