SouthSide Works — Attraction in Pittsburgh

American eagle head quarters and a store right around there as well. The movies and The Cheesecake Factory there’s one of the very best ice cream shops right on the corner there by the movies and Cheesecake Factory with awesome workers in there that always are smiling and always happy to help you I was ready to go back soon as I left very nice ladies I love great customer service and smiles and that is one of the places you’re definitely going to get both 😊 there is a hair salon right next to ice cream shop right around the corner the owner in this place is also awesome and sweet if I had the kind of hair(I assume)she does she’d be my go to every time such a genuinely kind soul she was also all smiles(something I love about people) it's a nice location to check out you know what I also stopped in a bike shop over there that also has awesome staff electric bikes and a good selection of walking running shoes among others I’m sure yeah now that I think about it every place I went to in that area was good everyone was smiling happy helpful and...

Overly busy place with no free parking. Everyone's in a hurry to be somewhere; seems like a great place to be run over when you finally park and set out on foot. In addition to not being free, parking is threatening and aggravating. To top it off, the local dog park created quite a smell and came equipped with a particularly nasty stretch of sidewalk. Yeah, there was no scooping that mess up.

A few good places to be here are the reason for the insane popularity and the only reason I'd ever be back. In our case, the Cheesecake Factory was what lured us in. I think we'll try a different location next time.

Having been here many more times since writing this review, my opinion is only reinforced. The parking garage is convenient after your first couple of trips, but everything here is going to keep you waiting. Waited an hour for Cheesecake Factory, an hour and a half for Kura Sushi... I really hate Southside Works, but I guess there's something to be said for how none of us can keep...

SouthSide Works is a relaxed riverfront spot in Pittsburgh with a mix of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a few stores around an open square. It’s easy to walk, with wide sidewalks, plenty of outdoor seating, and several parking garages nearby.
